Nice place to stay in common! River behind the room.
Attentive staff. Good price and breakfast.
Good place for money.
What could be improved:
1. Syncronyzation with tourists upon transfer time (better to send wats up message i advance to prevent problems to find the bus. ) it is better to write to whats up and write on trip com and other sources gate number (5) , 3 flour and bus plate 5896 to make sure tourist find it. Hitel name is Shanghai Pudong airport
2. Please add dressing gowns. It could be cool.after the bathroom...

Definetly a clear 5 star recommendation from my side. Living many years in China and doing lots of business trips here. Around Pudong airport until now the best choice - 20 minutes till airport, one side residential area and very silent (Other side rooms also very quite). Very clean rooms (have seen three of them, very nice design, not these typical modern rooms, but more "lifestyle" and "journey inviting", calming design and atmosphere. Breakfast I could not try, no time. Airport shuttle available, free once an hour. The team : extremely helpful, very friendly - I changed my room for personal reasons three times (😂) and have got a very nice upgrade finally.

The hotel is very unassuming from the outside. When you walk inside it welcome you with a soft, relaxing herbal scent, it boasts a boho chic decor. The rooms are lovely and comfortable. The outside areas needs some attention but the staff are lovely and so accommodating. I stay every time I travel from or to Shanghai when I need an overnight hotel.

The hotel location was convenient near restaurants and cafes, the staff was friendly and Ian the manager speaks English very well so it helped us during our check in. The rooms were clean and comfortable we really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in the duck theme room, it was pretty good except that the drive in to the hotel was through the basement carpark then take a lift up to lobby (which we found it quite scary as we arrived quite late at night with young kids) but thankfully the didi driver communicated with the receptionist. Apart from that the place was great with airport transfer which was much needed!

Great Location and Unique Concept
I was pleasantly surprised by the Manli Hotel in Shanghai. The hotel has a well-thought-out concept with a loft-style design featuring lots of wood and bamboo elements, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. While some of the furniture shows slight signs of wear, everything is still very stylish and comfortable. I slept really well!
The location is excellent – with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance, it's perfect for exploring the area. The breakfast was also great: fresh, tasty, and with a good variety. The staff was friendly and spoke English well, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
Overall, a charming hotel with character and an ideal location for visiting Shanghai!

The place is very good and clean , it is near to the pudong airport , also there are shops and restaurants nearby , those who wanna stay near to the airport I recommend the place , also the interior decoration of the rooms is classic
