Good hotel, but not very! Condition work bad( breakfast good! Far from center and all entertainments…

Very big hotel located in the west of Shanghai. Not so new, lobby staff friendly but not speaking English, style of rooms quite far from western standard. Clean room, wifi working fine, average quality of breakfast. Very expensive parking. For the same money, can find better hotels

Good choice if you are for business in MinHang and looking for a decent spot

Breakfast was excellent. Location is very near to business point . Really love to stay there again.

Superb hotel nice room and service

The only complain is the amenities around the area. Location is considered the far end in Shanghai if you frequent the city Center a lot. With traffic might take you an hour to reach Central Shanghai. The rooms are huge but feels dated.

If you really need to stay in Minhang, this is the best choice you can make. Is a little like 1000 and one night transfered to China.

The hotel had a VERY musty smell in the hallways and room. It was like there was mold or built up condensation. We weren’t allowed to use the pool until 3pm…and no lounge seats were available around the pool, just chairs. The breakfast has a good selection. It’s definitely a family hotel with lots of screaming children running around everywhere.

The room is too big and luxury, so it's not easy to get used to it.

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel. They have a wonderful breakfast and a very kind staffs. The hotel gave a complimentary cake and sung happy birthday song to me. Thank you Jerry for arranging this, it makes my birthday extra special and for helping us during our stay. I will definitely recommend the hotel again.

Excellent

This is our fourth time staying at your hotel. Ms. Liang Shengyue at the front desk enthusiastically arranged a large south-facing high-rise view room and promptly delivered welcome fruit snacks and other quality services. We enjoyed the double buffet that night and the next morning. The dishes were very rich and we liked them very much. The waiters Ms. Wang, Huang Feng, Chen Hao and others in the restaurant provided attentive service. From check-in to check-out, we felt the hotel's high-quality management, which made us feel like we were in a "harbor like home"! In this European-style building and sculpture, in the elegant and quiet garden, next to the beautiful fountain and goldfish pond, sitting and enjoying the scenery or strolling in the garden can relieve worries and fatigue and relax. It is a good hotel for nourishing the mind and cultivating sentiment. "Star River Hotel" is "a nice harbor in the hearts of guests"!

Stayed at Galaxy Bay on May Day. The room was spacious. Several varieties of breakfast and buffet were not available in other hotels. The decoration was very luxurious.

The service attitude is excellent. Here are some problems I encountered: 1. The air conditioner did not cool. On a humid rainy day in Shanghai, the air in the room was stuffy, but the hotel provided fans. I still hope there is cooling air conditioning... After all, it is such a big hotel. 2. When I was ready to take a bath at 9 pm, I found that there was no hot water, only warm and cold water of about 30 degrees... I called to give feedback for the first time, and they asked me to check it for you. Then I waited until about 9:40, but there was still no hot water and no call back... I had to call the room service again... They asked me to give feedback again... The third time I called, it was already past 10 o'clock, and the waiter told me that the engineering department had already helped me to increase the water temperature... I would have hot water in half an hour... Let's say, such a big hotel... It's okay if there is no air conditioning... The hot water was artificially turned off at night... This, this, this... I hope it can be improved. I am very satisfied with the hardware and the attitude of the service staff of the hotel.
