Chengjia Apartment (Shanghai Jinshajiang Road Metro Station) Reviews

I stayed for 5 days and they arranged for a cleaner to come every day to help with the cleaning. Although the room was quite small, especially the toilet, the toilet was not very hygienic, everything else was fine. Thank you for your help and care!

Stayed here with my girlfriend for 2 and half weeks. Very close to a mall and the public transport, very easy to get around, very big room. Perfect all around for a budget hotel

This is an apartment service, not strictly a hotel, so they don’t offer water, tea, or things of that sort other than slippers. Instead you have a washing machine in your suite, and lots of storage space. The water is extremely hot but that’s good for most people. Staff is generally helpful and the location is good. Close to the train. Recommended.

Very unhygienic and dirty. Saw a small cockroach in the bathroom. No amenities in the room. No free bottles of water, or tea and coffee, no hangers to hang clothes in wardrobe, no soap for washing hands. Nightmare experience.

I lived in many hotels in Shanghai. This is one with the best price, size of room and type of accommodation as an apartment. Recommend it!

Hotel need a little upgrade. The shower is very dirty and some places looks old.

Great location, just near Jingshajian subway Station from which is quite easy to go to the Bund or to Nanjing Road. It also has some shopping centres nearby. The rooms are clean and the employees are really nice

they provide single room apartments so they offer longer stay solutions, in my case I got there for three days as I was just visiting Shanghai for a short period. point 1. very budget friendly. price was very affordable also considered the room size and the position which leads me to point 2. the position is very good. it's just next to metro 3, 4, 13 Jinshajiang rd. also just across the humongous shopping mall "globar harbor", a couple of nights I went drinking around Jing'an temple and I could go back just by grabbing a bike (20 min ride). point 3. it doubles as an apartment so it has a fridge (❤), microwave oven, washing machine. downstairs it has a large common area with a kitchen and a big tables and chairs and sofas to study or simply eat the takeway food order. service was very nice. if I have to point at something that felt strange is that the elevator operates with a card (you should swipe your room card to get to your floor) but the room don't use cards anymore since you get a sms with the room code on your phone when you check in. basically to use the elevator you need the staff at the reception to swipe their card for you. how weird. that said I definitely enjoyed my stay. if I have the chance I'll go there again and I recommend if you are travelling on a budget. it's a great solution.

The location is great, the staff is super helpful, and I appreciate that they have hdmi ports in their TVs.
