The room was full of smoke smell and very difficult to get rid of because it had no windows and no proper ventilation. It was supposed to be a non smoking room.

Cute hotel was going through renovation expansion when I was visiting, no disturbances, lovely facilities , close to the Metro station and the ladies at the reception were super friendly. I dont speak mandarin so they translated everything using an app :)

Bedbugs, bedbugs, bedbugs! The first time I encountered bedbugs was in this hotel. Two people were bitten by more than 50 bumps each, red, swollen and itchy. We got up in the middle of the night and killed five or six of them. The hotel only said that I would go to the hospital to see a doctor and compensate for the medical expenses. I chose this hotel when I went to Disney. The hotel has a shuttle bus to Disney, but the time is not very friendly and the shuttle bus is too late.

Pros - Straight distance from the station. Cheaper than downtown.
Cons - Unreliable photos/reviews. Facilities + hygiene + smell + soundproofing + service are a total mess. A very old, very small room facility that was “literally remodeled” at a very low price. (Please note that Trip.com notices that remodeling is used interchangeably with “new construction” and “remodeling”) In fact, if you are a little diligent, you can find accommodations in Nanjingdonglu downtown in Shanghai at a similar price range, as China has good value for money. Even as a traveler who has stayed in a flea dormitory where you can fall asleep just by putting your head down, I was shocked by the poor hygiene and soundproofing level. (You can hear the phlegm collecting in the next room vividly, and in the early morning, the hotel staff opening and closing the door sounds like thunder.) I booked here for 3 days because I wanted to save money, but after 2 days, I booked a money shower healing at the nearby Orange Hotel. Absolutely not recommended.
