Homeinn Selected Hotel (Shanghai Lujiazui Area Babai Ban)

The worst experience ever, no soundproofing at all. The rustling noises from upstairs were noisy in my ears, and sounded like animals running and sharpening their claws on the wall, which woke me up from my sleep. I didn't know where the various clicking noises came from, but they felt like they were ringing in my ears. The room had no windows, but when the fake window was opened, there was a frosted glass outside. I could clearly hear the voices of grandpas and aunts talking from somewhere outside. I don't know where people were smoking outside, but when the windows were closed, the smoke rushed straight into my room, and it felt like someone was smoking in the same room with me. The smoke was unbearable. This room felt like it was made of foam, with no soundproofing or smellproofing. I wanted to have a good sleep because I couldn't rest because of the noise from the renovation upstairs at home, but I didn't rest at all. It was a terrible day.
