Honestly I had high hopes after staying in some other Youth Hostels in China. But this one really disappointed. The check in itself was okay. But first the elevator was smelling heavily of smoke. But thankfully this was the only place where I smelled this heavy smoke. The bed sheets were weird and seemed to be ripping apart. There was dandruff looking tiny white particles on the bed and hairs from people before. I developed a rash on my left foot because of either the laundry detergent or the sheets themselves. The shower glass doors were almost falling apart and had a lot of stains on them.
The room it self looked a bit rattled down but without the other things might have been fine. I really didn’t feel comfortable, so I changed to a different hotspot as a result.

The staff is helpfull and friendly even cannot speak english, but they manage to work on something called translator. the room is quite spacious. located neat to fengzhuang metro. the room
facilities is fine. clean and look like 3 star hotel but in budget. just the tv not working and the ac had some difficulty to on sometimes. overall i am satisfied with the booking.

Cleaned room (4 people per room), free dispensary drinking water. Cleaned eating area, nice resting place at the backyard. A lot of restaurants and shopping places nearby. Few minutes to the subway.
Staff (receptionists and cleaners) were excellent and professional. Even though the mattress was thin and hard, I slept well when I added my duvet as an extra blanket. Good value for money

I guess you get what you pay for but it was still very uncomfortable. Especially the hard mattress if you could call it a mattress. The hygiene of the showers and toilets were also questionable. At least was it somewhat close to the metro station even if it would take about an hour to get anywhere near the centre or any tourist attractions for that matter. The pungent cigarette smell was also highly unpleasant

"You get what you pay"
First thing, the real hotel building is not the same name as in the app. It is MI Jia Youth hotel. This makes me confused and walked around there half an hour to find the place. So hopeless. When I called the hotel, they even cannot speak English also the reception. Until I had to clearly see the picture in the app again....
The hallway has no smoking sign but you can smell heavy smoking all the building.
I know that I choose hostel room type and I have been many hostel before. BUT here it feels like you living in the dorm. Very very very dirty. And even it has toilet in the room buttttt..it is semi-transparent toilet with no lock!!!! So shocked such a nightmare brrr
Few thing that I'm OK here: bed, nice roommate and the location that not too far from metro - only these

it is close to the metro. Only around 2 minutes walk. I found it really confusing to find when I arrived. The mattress was REALLY thin and hard. But I still slept fine. The bathroom was really dirty, but my bed area was clean and tidy. For the price it’s a fine place to stay. Good amenities close by. I had really good dumplings, and there’s a convenience store across the road with snacks etc. Thank you:)
