Chengan Hotel (Shanghai Zhoupu Kangqiao)

1️⃣ Reasons I chose this hotel 1. Xiaomi guest control (my biggest attraction: Xiao Ai greets me as soon as I plug in my SIM card. I thought the curtains were also controlled by Xiao Ai, but they're manual). 2. Newly opened (although it's far from the Bund, Shanghai has convenient transportation, so it's not a problem). 2️⃣ Transportation It takes about an hour and a half to get to Lujiazui (Nanjing Road). Generally, take bus No. 97 from the hotel entrance, which then takes two subways. The buses are very timely and there's usually a seat. 3️⃣ Shopping There's a Jianbing King and a supermarket right outside the hotel, open from 6:30 AM to 12 PM, with extended hours. They have a barbecue grill and a fruit shop. There's also a Wanda Plaza about two kilometers away. 4️⃣ Service The service staff are very friendly and helpful. The toothbrush was delivered quickly. The cleaning lady cleaned promptly and made the bed, very attentive. The takeaway was delivered by a robot. We left a message saying it was far from the elevator, and it was indeed delivered. The door is thoughtfully stocked with Band-Aids, earplugs, masks, sewing supplies, and a laundry room. 5️⃣ Smart guest room control Xiao Ai can help turn on the lights, TV, air conditioning, music, and alarms. The next day, I couldn't connect to the internet. I reported it to the front desk and it was fixed immediately. 6️⃣ Sink The sink is outside, so washing and showering don't conflict; they can be done together. However, being outside can cause water to spill onto the floor, making it slippery. I only saw disposable slippers, not bathroom slippers; I brought my own and didn't pay much attention. 7️⃣ King and twin rooms There's a slight price difference. What I saw: The king room on the third floor has a large window and a great view. The twin room on the third floor has a small window, facing the hallway, which is slightly larger. The sofa in the twin room is twice the size of the king room, and the table is large and long. The king room has a small round table. 8️⃣ Toilet Separate wet and dry areas, waterproof The toilet is large, smart, and heated. The toilet seat I brought is too small and doesn't work. The shower is long, which I love. Shower gel, shampoo, and hand soap are provided. 5. That's all I can think of.

This time I stayed with Jin. It's close to the center of Shanghai, so it's convenient, and most of all, it's quiet and the facilities are great. The hotel was recently remodeled, so it's very clean and the facilities are excellent. There's a laundry room on the first floor, and the front desk staff is very kind. You can eat breakfast while waiting on the first floor, and it's very clean, so it's great. There are local restaurants nearby, so it's good for eating, going downtown, and going to Pudong Airport. I'll be staying here again next time I visit Shanghai. Thank you.

Advantages: Newer facilities, many restaurants nearby, staff with positive attitude, actively solve problems, and take the initiative to help customers wash and dry clothes. Disadvantages: <1>. There is an error in the room type picture on Ctrip. It is clearly a room with inner windows, but the picture shows an outer window! <2> Average sound insulation, far from the subway station

New hotel, great environment, clean and odorless rooms, everything is new. It is indeed smart in the whole house, very convenient, an experience beyond expectations, and very cost-effective.

The room is comfortable, clean and tidy. The service is great. I will come again.

It's newly renovated, so the interior is relatively clean. The price is discounted on weekdays and the price/performance ratio is acceptable. It's located near the community and it's convenient to buy breakfast, but it's a bit noisy in the morning.
