The soundproofing is not good. There is a big hole at the entrance of the room I stayed in. I observed that it is the electricity meter box for all the rooms, which is a safety hazard. The water supply in the bathroom is relatively small. Overall, it is just average.

I visited Shanghai with friends and chose the Magic House Smart Hotel. It was incredibly clean, the facilities were smart and easy to use, and the staff were friendly and quick to respond to any requests. I stayed at another hotel in Shanghai for a few days, but there were many disappointing points that differed from the reviews, so I was looking for a different hotel and I found this one.
The room was the same as in the photos and the grade I was shown was different so there were no problems.
Only body soap and shampoo were provided, so I wish there was conditioner.
Other than that, there were no other issues and it was cozy and comfortable.
I think it's easy to get to IKEA and other shopping malls by bicycle or taxi.
I would like to stay here again.
