Standing on the 36th floor overlooking Shanghai in the mist and rain is unique. I like the hotel's breakfast very much. The smoke from the kitchen is soothing. I like the local snacks in Shanghai. Every staff member in the hotel has a very good attitude. Thank you especially Joyce for her service. She really cares about the customers. I hope to have the opportunity to stay again. The location of the hotel is also very good. It is quiet in a busy city. If there is a shortcoming, it is that the check-in area seems a bit rushed. There are two more people and I don’t know where to stand.

I learned about the newly opened Alila in Shanghai and came to Shanghai to try it out. It was newly renovated and I was stunned by the beauty of the lobby and atrium when I checked in. The basic room I booked was big enough and welcome fruits were prepared. The tea room in the public area also has an office area for guests, which is very beautiful and photogenic. Breakfast is mainly made to order, and the Japanese salmon rice is just to my taste. Linlin at the hotel front desk knew that our flight time was awkward and did a late check-out. Thank you very much. Joyce also added WeChat before checking in and prepared souvenirs for us when we checked out. We can contact them at any time during our stay. The hotel is next to Zhang Garden, and you can walk there directly as soon as you go out. It is also close to Xingye Taikoo Li, which is very convenient. Except that the room still smells a bit like new furniture, everything else is very satisfactory. Next time I come to Shanghai, Alila will undoubtedly be my first choice.

This time it was the fifth day of Alila Shanghai's opening. As soon as I returned to Shanghai, I arranged time to come and experience it. Objectively speaking, as an urban micro-resort hotel in the Nanjing West Road business district, it still brought a lot of surprises. It has to be said that the public area of ​​the hotel is relatively beautiful in Shanghai. The trees designed by Wang Lingchen are clustered on the water as the atrium, which provides a view at every step. The afternoon tea area, bar, reading room, and sky corridor are combined with light strips and Green plants are quite photogenic. The room fits the tone of Hyatt and looks relatively plain, but it feels quite homey. The area of ​​74 square meters is not small. The square layout and simple design make the room look very open. Lujiazui can be directly seen from the room and living room. Three piece set. The location is invincible. In the Taikoo Hui business district on Nanjing West Road, it forms a three-legged confrontation with the nearby Yongshe and Sukaitai. It can even radiate to St. Regis, The Puli, etc. to compete for a certain number of customers. The service is great. Joyce is a very nice person and answered most of my questions. The coordination between various departments is also very good, reaching the top level of C6, but it may also be due to the new opening. Catering: The hotel has Yingting for Japanese set meals and set meals, Weihai 500 Chinese restaurant, and the bar Secret Roof. Tea banquets can be used for afternoon tea and business chats. Breakfast is also eaten at Yingting. The breakfast level is very high, and it can enter the first echelon in Shanghai. In terms of quality, I personally think it is slightly better than the Yongshe and Capella. Generally speaking, this will be a relatively competitive urban resort hotel, and a strong competitor to the Puxi core business district of Yongshe, Puli, Peninsula, etc. Although it is a Shikumen theme, it seems that apart from some books and Shanghai’s local culture has little to do with it. Just treat it as a light health hotel for leisure and relaxation.

It was a pity that I didn’t experience the spa this time due to time constraints. The housekeeper actually gave me a small essential oil, which was considerate of me, haha
