Sofitel Shanghai North Bund

The newly opened Sofitel Hotel in April 2024 is full of French romance, and every shot is a blockbuster. I made an appoin**ent with my girlfriends to have afternoon tea in the hotel lobby. The afternoon tea for two people, which costs 688, is half price for the newly opened hotel. The dessert level of the afternoon tea is better than that of other hotels, and the freshly ground coffee is also very good. In the evening, I returned to the hotel room to drink red wine. The hotel also brought us six red wine glasses. The service is considerate and customer-oriented. King, the staff at the lobby front desk, also has an excellent service attitude, making guests feel at home. Will come again. A hotel worth recommending.

The room was OK. The hotel is newly opened. I happened to see the opening ceremony at the door of the hotel today. It was quite spectacular. The hotel room is relatively new, but the only drawback is that the water temperature in the room is not very stable. Others are fine. The hotel service was pretty good. After check-out, the housekeeper Cindy also made a check-in return visit. It was okay. Overall, it was good. Hahaha, but the color of the hotel room card is quite nice. It is my favorite style and I will choose it again in the future.

I saw the newly opened hotel🏨 and immediately booked a two-night package for 1888, which included breakfast, lunch/dinner, and afternoon tea. At first, I wanted to experience this new hotel once with one lunch and one dinner, but later I found that the menu was the same whether I chose lunch or dinner (the menu was written on the Ctrip page). So that package is actually enough to experience one night. I specifically praise the butler of our trip: King from the front office, because he made our trip very comfortable. Of course, the other staff in the hotel are also very nice. It is very busy during the holidays and you can see that the employees are like fighting a war during the peak period, but every reasonable demand of mine is patiently responded to and met one by one. Because I didn’t have time to drink afternoon tea, I asked the lobby to deliver it to the room and we came back to drink evening tea😅The quality of the breakfast is above average among five-star hotels, and the fresh orange juice is the best, haha. The main lunch/dinner in the package is red wine stewed steak, which is tender and tasty. I forgot to take a photo. . . What shortcomings are there. . Just before leaving, I found out that this Sofitel doesn’t have a swimming pool. But it’s not a big problem because I’ve gotten a lot of benefits in the package, so I don’t care about it.

There was a little hiccup after checking in, but the hotel was trying its best to help solve it, but hotel parking was indeed a problem. Everything else is fine, the rooms are relatively new, the facilities and equipment are quite complete, and the service is also good. I will continue to choose it if I have the opportunity in the future.
