Lemon Hotel

We stayed in a room without windows, that had 3 single beds, and used shared bathrooms. Honestly we couldn’t fault the stay, the staff were so friendly, the bathroom facilities were always spotless, they had heated toilets (we found this amusing 😂), free tea in the foyer. The location was really good and was a great street alternative to the always busy nanjing road, and was instead on Huaihai road which we would recommend! It is still a main road full of things to see/shopping, but just not as busy/hectic. The hotel was a tiny bit hard to locate but that wasn’t really an issue, we think moreso a maps problem. The lift took a while as there was only one life for the building, and took a while as it was on the 18/19th floor. The views however were amazing, as this was the view from the bathrooms 😍

100% recommend!!! I always stay in this hotel whenever I come to Shanghai! It's in a great area of the city and right across the road from Changshu Lu subway station (which has two subway lines on). The hotel has many rooms and is spread out on the 18th, 19th, and 20th floors of the building. Which means that there are incredible views of the city! I recommend paying a little extra and getting the room with a window, just for the view! The rooms are very clean with amazing bedding and pillows. You also have a personal TV, aircon, toiletries pack, bottle of water and slippers etc. There are water filter machines on each floor and usually free tea on the lobby floor. The staff are there 24 hours at the front desk, so you can check in anytime. The bathrooms are always really clean, and the cleaning ladies are always in out, making sure everything is nice. Bonus: The famous SYSTEM night club is also in the same building (around 3rd floor). So you can party and then go up to your room on the 19th floor!

My second time at Lemon Hotel! I was impressed with how great yet affordable it was, so I came back. The location is just less than a minute’s walk from Changshu Station (metro) exit No.7, the staff were nice and friendly and informative, the bed was so comfortable that I didn’t want to leave. I would come back here again if I ever return to Shanghai.

Thank you for hard work doing house keeping shower rooms and restroom are always so clean !   I have never seen dirty toilets or even wet floor of bathrooms for my 5days stay !
