Atour Hotel Shanghai Xintiandi Metro Station

The experience was great. Love the hotel design, location and service. The hotel was well designed, modern and elegant in style. We stayed for 8 nights and could easily travel to places of interest. The provision of late evening porridge was a nice touch especially in winter. Staff including the housekeeping ladies were polite and helpful. I would stay here if I visited again.

Very welcoming and friendly staff. Automated lights and curtains when entering room. Modern and functional. Less than 10 minutes walk to Xintiandi restaurants, metro around the corner. I would recommend

The hotel is well kept, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The free laundry room is a godsend, as we did our laundry on the last night before continuing our China trip for another week. The breakfast is more than decent, although items tend to run out towards the end. Rooms are very clean, and design is the modern minimalist type. The location is convenient.

Atour was a life saver to me. I am deeply appreciative and grateful to them. I originally booked Ascott but had such a bad experience when I checked in (poorly maintained furniture, mouldy toilet, broken door latch). I was recommended Atour by locals and I called Atour at midnight asking if there are beds available (it was Christmas season and most hotels are fully booked). Their staff was professional and empathetic towards my situation. I was afraid that the room would not be able to accommodate 4 of us and they suggested that we could check out the rooms before booking. We went down the next day and they brought us to view a few rooms. This act of going the extra mile was extremely comforting for us. We had a great stay at Atour. It was new, modern, clean and the room was spacious and AI controlled. We had a great stay there. I am grateful to the staff Quan Yu who picked up my call and the other Quan Yu who showed me around the hotel for going above and beyond and made the rest of my SH trip a good one.  The only feedback is that the location is not as convenient and it would be great if there is a convenience store nearby. However, with the convenience of didi in SH, it wouldn’t be a huge problem.

To us this hotel is in excellent location as is close to couple if underground stations as well as Xintiandi and other eateries. It may not be in the heart of Xintiandi but close enough to experience the atmosphere there.
