Golden Tulip Shanghai Hongqiao Yankuang Hotel

This hotel was great. I loved the sizes of the rooms and the bathrooms. My only issue is, there is no control of indoor smoking. Other guests will be smoking indoors with the fumes seeping all the way throughout the corridors. Are smoke alarms that difficult to install? What’s the point of getting a non-smoking room if people in other rooms are just smoking throughout the entire time? That’s definitely something that needs to change because if it’s a five star hotel, this is supposed to be a standard.

Golden Tulip Shanghai Hotel I had a wonderful stay at the Golden Tulip Shanghai Hotel. The rooms were spacious, providing ample comfort, and the toilets and bathrooms were spotless and well-maintained. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast; it was delicious with a nice variety of options. What truly stood out was the exceptional customer service. I accidentally left my cap behind, and the hotel kindly arranged to send it to my home address—such a thoughtful gesture! Overall, my experience was delightful, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Shanghai. 😊

Around the hotel not so much restaurant. Hotel employees cannot speak English.

The hotel was new and clean. The breakfast was also nice, and there were many food choices.

The service and room is good. John who worked at front office is really nice and give us drinks on the way!

Wonderful hotel. Great breakfast. Will stay here again.
