Shanghai Yijian Homestay

A cozy, clean apartment with everything you need. We really liked it. There are shops, cafes, and a metro station within walking distance, which takes you directly to the main attractions. Very friendly owner. Explained everything, showed everything. Thank you very much for the gifts, it was unexpected and pleasant. We are glad that we chose this apartment, it was one of our best stays out of all the cities we have been to.

The soundproofing was terrible. Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. The cars passing by outside sounded like they were right next to our ears. We didn't sleep well the whole night. We couldn't tell if it was the people next door or upstairs snoring, but we could hear them clearly. Add to that the traffic outside and we couldn't sleep at all. If you have poor sleep quality, don't choose this kind of place. It's such a torture to go out and play. Without sleep, I had no energy to play. My eyes were swollen. The B&B is a duplex, about a ten-minute walk from the subway station. The room was quite large and okay. There were three of us staying there. The room had a heating water heater, which was slow to heat up and the water was low. It took an hour or two to wait in line for the three of us to shower. The air conditioning and heating in the room were very loud and noisy, and it was cold when it wasn't on.

Facilities: Complete, with everything you need. Hygiene: It's clean, nothing special. Environment: It feels like home, the duplex space is pretty good. Service: There is no front desk, but the butler is always responsive.

The room is clean and well-equipped. The landlord is also very nice. We forgot our mobile phone charger in the room and sent it to us. Thank you. It's opposite the shopping mall, very convenient.

I do not recommend: 1. If you want to sleep well and rest - disgusting beds and bedding, terrible pillows, synthetic bed linen. 2. Terrible towels - synthetic rags. 3. No plates, cutlery. 4. The entire interior is old and needs renovation, the bathroom, sink, everything needs major renovation. There is hair in many places - on the floor, in the bathtub in the rooms. 5. You can hear your neighbors going up to their 2nd floor on the stairs, there is no soundproofing, you can hear the street in the room. This is a flophouse to leave things and wash clothes, nothing more, it is not suitable for sleeping and resting.
