Shanghai Yueting Homestay

The location is about 30 minutes by car from the city centre, which may be a bit far for some. However, the surrounding area is great, with plenty of restaurants and a more local vibe. It’s also conveniently located in the same building as a shopping mall. Our main disappointment was the strong smell of smoke in the room, even though the listing stated it was smoke-free. The room was also dirty, especially under the bed, where we found a lot of rubbish. Although the staff cleaned it after we raised the issue, we hope they take more care in the future, guests are paying a good amount for the stay, and cleanliness should be a top priority.

There is a shopping center downstairs. Its like renting a room in a multi rooms apartment. You have private bathroom, but shared pantry and main door. Overall is still nice.
