Shanghai Bund Riverside Treasury Hotel

The location is really good. The hotel is very close to Tilanqiao Station. There are also alot of restaurants around the hotel. I also appreciated that I was allowed to check in early.

We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights. From the first night all the way till check out the experience was very pleasent. The location was just a short 5mins walk from a ferry terminal to the opposite North Bund park, where we had our evening walk to Oriental Pearl Tower and the 3 super tall skyscrappers. Also a short 10mins walk to Tilanqiao metro station where we set off for our daily itenaries, (Disneyland, Nanjing Road, 1 day trip to Suzhou). Rooms were cleaned daily, and smelled pleasent. Food delivery from Meituan was delivered straight to our rooms using a cute little robot.

I had a great stay at this hotel, primarily due to its excellent location. Situated right in the heart of Shanghai’s CBD, it offers the perfect balance between convenience and tranquility. The train station is just across the road, making it incredibly easy to get around the city. Despite being in a prime area, the hotel remains peaceful in the evenings, providing a restful environment. The amenities are another highlight—there’s a well-equipped gym, laundry facilities, and even robot room service, which adds a modern touch to the experience. Additionally, having two shopping malls just across the street made dining and shopping effortless. The only downside was an inconsiderate SG or Malaysian family staying on the same floor. They allowed their child to run along the corridor, where the echoes were quite loud. Worse, they returned late at night, frequently slamming doors and speaking loudly in the hallway, disrupting the otherwise quiet atmosphere. Ultimately this isn’t the hotel’s fault of course but the upbringing of these people. Overall, the hotel is an excellent choice for travelers looking for a well-located and comfortable stay in Shanghai, with great amenities to enhance the experience. Highly recommended.

The reception staff were great—Jun Jun was especially kind and helpful. The hotel room was clean and comfortable, but the price was a bit high for the standard provided. The soundproofing was poor—I could hear people talking and walking in the hallway. The worst part? I even heard a woman in the next room moaning loudly… so awkward! Haha! I wouldn’t say this is the best hotel, especially since the rooms don’t have a nice view. But on the plus side, there’s a shopping mall right across the street, and the metro station is just a 3-minute walk away.

Great location. Great service. The room is pretty big with a nice bathtub. Recommend to come here and stay when in Shanghai. 小田可可好
