Rezen Retreat Hotel, Chuansha Metro Station, International Tourism Resort, Shanghai

If you can't speak and understand Chinese well, avoid this place ‼️ For non-chines speaker , services are really poor. Only a female night staff, driver who picked me up from the airport, and admin who I spoke to on WeChat are helpful and provide excellent services! even my Chinese skill is not that good, they all are being so understanding, kind and helpful to me. HOWEVER, the morning staffs on 5th June 2025 are TERRIBLE, not only they are not being helpful, they are also yelled at me. And I got different treatment from them because I can't speak Chinese very well. The morning staffs gave breakfast bags to 2 Chinese guests who signed up for the airport drop-off service at the same time at me but they did not give me a breakfast bag so I had to go get breakfast from the convenient store nearby by myself : ( And when the driver arrived, He yelled at me in Chinese, I didn't understand it clearly and didn't know if he was talking to me, if so, why did he has to yell at me TT so I asked a female staff at the counter, "Is this the car to airport" and she gave me very bad attitude like I was annoying her. and said yes. After I got into the car the driver was really rude, when we arrived at the Pudong Airport T1, he yelled at t=me to get off the car. There're other two Chinese guests who were heading to T2 but they thought  they already arrived at their destination so now of them tried to got off at the same stop at me and the driver yelled at her very loud, I felt so bad for her.   The location:  Great! if you have an early morning flight to Pudong Airport, it only takes 15 mins driving from hotel to the Pudong Airport T1 Hotel facilities are alright. So many restaurants and convenience stores nearby  16 mins walk to the nearest train station  Cleanliness: found insects inside my room as the window was left opened when I got in TTTT  Honestly, I don't think it's worth money cause there're other hotels nearby airports that offer airport pickup/drop-off service with cheaper price, but I chose this one cause I at least expect better service from them as they are more expensive than others. 

Has great reception service, fast to respond when calling for airport pickup. Accommodated our request for birthday surprise

We had an outstanding stay at this hotel, where the staff’s warm, welcoming attitude and exceptional professionalism truly stood out. From check-in to departure, every request was handled promptly, efficiently, and with genuine courtesy, reflecting a high standard of service rarely found elsewhere. Their flexibility in arranging the shuttle service to suit our needs was greatly appreciated and made getting around effortless. The hotel’s prime location, within walking distance of the subway, bustling markets, and a large shopping mall, added to the convenience, while the clean, well-maintained rooms provided a comfortable retreat after a busy day. Highly recommended.

The hotel was very clean, and tidy and organized right from the reception.The people were very nice and tried their best to welcome and help us out.The rooms too,were very comfortable, and neat and clean.They had good services and a good breakfast buffet too.And their porridge services at evening, was a great thing to fulfill the stomach after a long day of traveling. Their transport services from the airport to their hotel and vice versa, and from their hotel to Disneyland and back, were very helpful for our journey here in Shanghai. If we come back here in Shanghai,we are surely staying here again for our next trip. The hotel has made us very happy and satisfied. This hotel is also perfect for Muslims who have decided to travel in Shanghai because there is a halal restaurant on the street right opposite to the hotel.

Booking location was wrong otherwise everything is acceptable

Is so close to both Disneyland and Pudong international airport, and they provide free shuttle services as well.
