Holiday Inn Express Hotels in Shanghai

We have stayed in this hotel many times in our trip to Shanghai. It's clean, convenient, and has self service laundry which is very good for a longer holiday in China. The restaurant seems being refurbished, with more variety of food for breakfast.

Hotel is a short ride from Disneyland. Room 305 and 303 have musty smell. There is free laundry/dryer but you have to do it yourself. Xiao zhi is good and help to arrange transport(chargeable). Breakfast is so so only but enough to start the day. The free transport from hotel to Disneyland tour guide advise us not to buy from street vendors and scammer outside Disneyland gate BUT they also advertise their own tour guide during the bus ride at various pricing. My advise buy from Disney official inside or online. Don't buy from the hotel arrange free bus ride tour guide any Disneyland service and those outside Disneyland gate. All of them charge at high markup price. 酒店距离迪士尼乐园只有一小段车程。305 和 303 房间有霉味。有免费洗衣/烘干机，但您必须自己动手。小志人很好，帮助安排交通（收费）。早餐一般般，但足以开始新的一天。从酒店到迪士尼乐园的免费交通导游建议我们不要从迪士尼乐园门口的街头小贩和骗子那里购买，但他们也在巴士上以各种价格宣传自己的导游。我的建议来自迪士尼官方内部或在线。不要从酒店安排的免费巴士乘坐导游那里购买任何迪士尼乐园服务以及迪士尼乐园门口外的服务。他们全部收取高额的加价。

2nd round staying in this hotel. I gotta take my hats off to Mr KIMI, the Operations Mgr. He was very helpful, friendly n humble, he went above n beyond his role. He must train his subordinate to be like him. Not answer every Q with ” I dont know or go the subway station to check on tpt”. This is more so for foreigners like me who cannot speak n read Mandarin well. The other staff is the lady in the restaurant who cleans the table. She was also very helpful. So becos of these 2 personnel, I would rate this hotel 4/5.

Great stay again ! Happy to return back to this hotel. Convenient location for leisure and business mix. To get to both hong qiao , Pudong and downtown via taxi or metro which is about 5-10 mins walk. Staff are super helpful with any enquiries, courier help and welcoming - makes you feel at home away from home. View from the back is local hood, front is park, they don’t allow outsiders to roam around upstairs , deliveries are by robot to the rooms. Small self service laundry down stairs with a few cardio machines.

High recommend this holiday Inn branch if you need a short stay near Pudong Airport for transit or if you are visiting Disneyland. They provided free shuttle bus (to/fro) to the Pudong airport T1&T2 (refer to picture for schedule) as well as Disneyland (pick up from hotel at 7am. only one timing but there will a tour guide in the bus to share some useful info about Disneyland). Hotel staff are also well trained, they were helpful, attentive to my queries. The hotel room is very clean. I personally care very much about hygiene and they really did a god job. The toiletries are available, If the bedroom slipper given will be even better. The hotel amenities is another a plus point - gym room, laundry (free), coffee machine with lots of choices (Americano, latte, cappuccino), free tea bag, snack bar (own expenses), robot machine (to deliver your ******* order or anything you requested from reception). The lobby area has a powerbank station (rental service). Take note that the neighbourhood isn’t any shophouses so if you need a lunch/dinner, you have to order delivery from their local App (*******). Breakfast is provided and a lot of choices! The Pudong airport was 35mins drive to the hotel and the Disneyland is also take about 40mins to the hotel so plan your journey ahead!

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. We lived in a room on the 11th floor with a view of the city. The room is small but cozy. The window opens for ventilation. The towels were changed during cleaning. There is no closet in the room. The breakfast is Chinese-style, but varied and delicious. Free coffee and tea are available in the lobby. There is a welcome-drink in the mini-bar. A small souvenir was presented during the departure. Thank you for your hospitality!

This stay was very satisfying. The hotel environment is clean and elegant, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the details are handled very attentively. The front desk reception is warm and professional, and the check-in and check-out are very efficient. Special thanks to the room service staff, who always smile and respond to needs in a timely manner. The breakfast is rich in variety and tastes very good. The overall atmosphere is warm and relaxing. It is very suitable for business trips or travel, and it is worth choosing again!

Location is a bit far from the main attractions, took us 25-60mins to get to them. First time in Shanghai and lack of research on the attraction locations. Service by the F&B staff was great. They were diligent, hardworking, fast and multi-taskers. The teamwork amongst them was brilliant always ensuring tables are cleared & food topped up. Some of them even helped out in housekeeping!! The reception ladies were excellent, very patient, very helpful and informative. They even helped us order our takeout meals. Facilities is minimal but that is all we needed, washing machine/dryer, 2 gym equipment and 24/7 hot drinks corner.

This hotel is clean and the service was good. There was no small fridge in the room and we enquire about it and then one small fridge was sent to our room. It was good service. At the reception we were given warm drinks everyday and we have the choice of drinks too. The breakfast was a good spread of both western and eastern which makes variety for the guests. The arrival and drop off at the front of the hotel is needing proper guide or sign post because the drivers we get for transport could find the entrance to the hotel - the carpark entrance is rather confusing. Please look into this for such a Hotel as Holiday inn. We enjoyed our stay at this place.
