My Room with no window is next to toilet. It was loud and noisy, noise of the water running in pipe and toilets, noise of flushing toilets. If you arrive late when all people are asleep it'd be fine compared to the price. The bed is comfortable, air-conditioning is good. The staff are very professional and very nice and can speak English very well. They are willing to help ♡

It's very good. The room is clean and very close to the hospital. The service attitude is also very good. I was given breakfast. Importantly, the public security agency is nearby. The safety index is high. I will stay here again next time.

Excellent location in the middle of the French concession. so close to the library and wukang mansion. Excellent public transport links to other places of interest. Unfortunately I didn't try the breakfast because there were so many places I wanted to try outside. The staff were really helpful too❤️

I stayed for just one night as I had an event I was going to in the city. I booked a promo queen room at a great last minute price, good value! The bed was a little firm for my taste and the room is small, but I'm not complaining at the price. Breakfast is okay, small range (but it's a smaller hotel), mostly Chinese (the wonton soup was delicious!). The hotel is older (with that lovely French Concession grandeur) but clean and the staff are lovely (though bring your translation app if you're a foreigner who doesn't speak English). I would really like to come back and stay in the spring (it has beautiful outdoors scenery) and pay more to stay in a bigger room for a few days.

The stay was great. Location is excellent. Very friendly staff for questions and tipps, esp. helpful was Vicky XU. I would like to thank the entire team. Looking forward to my next stay.

Service: 10/10. My mum and I were greeted at reception with warm tea and snacks. Honey (张小姐) added us on Wechat (Chinese social media) and provided us with food times and amenities for our stay. Location: 10/10 Amazing location. It's around 15 minutes walk from WuKang building which is the start of the famous Shanghai Citywalk. The hotel is 9 minutes walk from the closest metro (HengShanLu). Hotel: Perfect 👌🏼 We were given floor level 21 and had SPECTACULAR views. Absolutely superb. 💯 Food: Buffet breakfast. Afternoon OR evening tea included. Plus 1 bowl of noodle at night. What more can you ask for?! 10/10. Overall, I will recommend friends and family to stay. If you are deciding, stop & book right now!

I accidentally booked the wrong hotel. Same branch but different location and with amazing help of reception lady it was sorted and fixed within 30 mins. Amazing service. Fantastic buffet breakfast and lovely staff. It’s my home base in Hing an Shanghai!!! Thanks so much

Super helpful and friendly staff. Assisting me in ordering food delivery, ordering didi (cab/taxi) and also with my luggages. Special thanks to the very thoughtful house keeping lady, I think her surname is Fang, who is on duty from Dec 4th till 9th on the 11th floor. She put in extra effort and try her best to help my colleague from Philippines even with language barrier. Love the location as well, very near the subway station, beautiful surroundings during Autumn, a lot of locals and non local restaurants. Convenient location.

The room provided has technical issue, making me thought there's another being in the room. Midnight, the light suddenly on itself. Had electrician to cut out the circuit and but when he left, the switch beside the door start to flash along with clicking sound, like someone playing with it. The electrician came again. He looked shock when the light at the mirror flashes while he was trying to fix the electric, saying he already closes it. Anyway they finally allow to change room after few fixes. Praises to the reception lady at midnight. I had joy chatting with her throughout the night and she's rly sweet.

My favourite hotel in Shanghai. Great location, fair price, nice and clean, and a very solid breakfast spread that changes slightly every day. When my international credit card didn’t work when checking in, they allowed me to just pay the first day upfront with cash, then I paid for the rest of my stay the next day. The starbucks downstairs doesn’t hurt either. My only very small complaint is that the clothes dryers aren’t great, so I resorted to hanging clothes up in my hotel room. Also, another small complaint, the AC only blasted hot air, but it was already hot upstairs. No option to blast cold air, or just regular outside temperature air through the AC system. This was basically solved though by opening the outside windows and front door to let the air pass through. It was still a little hot though. In the summer, I imagine it is the opposite problem, only cold air can be pushed through the AC system, which might not be ideal if there is a freak cold day in the summer.
