Baymont by Wyndham Shakopee

Room was never cleaned once; the towels were expected to be used for 3 days straight, even though they don't adequately provide pool towels as they were never washed in the 3 days we were there just kept piling up in a bin. The shower had dirt all over, the toilet had pee on it, the shower glass was scummy clearly not scrubbed in a long time. The manger Angel was extremely unprofessional when confronted with these issues multiple times, only to lie to her bosses that she wasn't informed prior. I also had spoken to the house keepers in fluent Spanish, and it was clearly illustrated that our room, especially bathroom, needed a deep clean immediately. The excuses from the management and ownership all around in APPALLING. The way the owner responded makes me wonder if he's dating this manager because every bad review mentions how horrible she is at her role. There were 3 other staff I dealt with, 2 managers named Tina and Kim were amazing as was the breakfast chef. Angel isn't cut out for the hospitality business that much is clear by the way she just shuts down when confronted with issues that fall on her responsibility.

Staff had to break lock for us to enter into our room and replace it once we got our bags in. Our bathroom looked like it had’t been cleaned in months. Shower curtain was moldy. There was also an old shower head in the corner of the tub, which looked like ours was replaced but the old one had been left. The whole hotel was very humid.

Room was clean. Toilet pressure is low though. Front desk service is ok. Breakfast is great, as is the guy working the Breakfast. Stayed on a weekend and both nights, cops were at the hotel. I wouldn't stay again though.

Very dirty room, pee stains on toilet, bloody spot on tile floors, food scraps near beds, even coins ! Table was dirty and not cleaned, will NOT stay here again after 4 years straight.

I’d like to have someone contact me to share the deplorable place I PAID to stay. None of this was ok at all

Tina (front desk) and Werner (breakfast staff) were excellent representations of what AMAZING customer service looks like! They made us feel very welcome and would be the reason we would return to this location! Both definitely deserve a raise for the hard work and consistent excellent service inspite of how busy it was this weekend!
