Shah Alam Hotels with Gym

Disappointing Experience at Mardhiyyah Hotel I recently stayed at Mardhiyyah Hotel Shah Alam, and unfortunately, I was left quite disappointed with my experience. Upon checking in, I found a tin of Coke left on the table in my room. When I called housekeeping, they simply came and took it away without even apologizing or offering to change the room. Having worked in hospitality myself, I know this is not acceptable service. Additionally, our room did not include breakfast, so we paid RM50 per person. However, the breakfast service was subpar. Despite there not being many guests at the time, it took more than half an hour to refill the nasi lemak, and other food items weren’t topped up at all. I felt like I was paying RM50 for very little in return. When I approached a waitress (middle-aged, free hair, wearing glasses) to inquire about the delays, she completely ignored me. After I mentioned that I had paid RM50, she continued to disregard me and instead talked to the other waitstaff, who all stared at me. It was a truly frustrating and unprofessional experience. I believe the general manager of Mardhiyyah Hotel needs to review staff training, especially in customer service, and ensure that food replenishment is timely. This experience was not up to the standard I expected, and I hope the management addresses these issues. Here are some pictures of the Coke in the room and the empty trays during breakfast.

Strategic location. Just a walking distance to mall & have 2 food truck area nearby the hotel. Nice view of masjid shah alam 👍 breakfast is ok. Parking is free for in-house guest but the ramp quite narrow. Overall good.

1-Night Staycation at Mercure Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie Recently did a last-minute staycation with my husband to celebrate his birthday, and we decided to go just outside KL. Here's a quick review: Check-in time: 3pm. Check-out time: 12noon. RM100 deposit required at check-in. Free parking (just validate your Touch ‘n Go card whenever you exit). Room was clean, with a comfy double bed (1.5m wide) and sofa bed. Separate toilet and shower area, and if you need amenities like a toothbrush, just call the staff. Has a connecting room option. Limited TV channels, but the quality’s clear. In-room dining menu is on a TV channel!. We skipped breakfast to sleep in and recharge before picking up the kids. Definitely a relaxing spot for a quick getaway!

The hotel is good for families going to the theme park . Unfortunately it was raining season in Sep so we did not get to enjoy much of the rides as it was raining everyday in the late afternoon and night. Only our last night the rain stop.Location is good next to the hotel is the mall and great for families too but there is not any shelter walkway yo mall. Hope the hotel can feed back to Mayor of the town council to build a covered walk way. The breakfast was good too and we enjoyed. Will recommend to friends and family who dont wish to go Genting for theme park and waterpark. As for the room it was nice and the view we got was nice too Tq for the cake as we also celebrate my niece B’day when we were they. Will definately come again next year.

All great with the hotel. The staff help me a lot with booking that trip.com didnt inform me that my check in date have changed. Solution that trip.com give me to topup with my own money & claim later instead of deal directly with hotel agent to check in me directly. Luckily staff hotel help me to check in on that day.

I recently stayed at the Acappella Suite Hotel in Shah Alam, and I was thoroughly impressed by the spaciousness and comfort of the rooms. The room is nice and within exoectation for the 5 star resort hotel. However, the Hotel need to upgrade the service in term of registration; especially with this one guy who is not that friendly. I checked in around 3:30pm . First the hotel seems difficult to find my booking under my name but later it was resolved. Then the Reception guy told me that the Room is not ready and I have to wait; and he said he will approached me once received feedback from Housekeeping. I was waiting for 1/2 hour and still no one approached me. Then I went back to front desk to ask for update. As that guy was occupied with other registration, i managed to talk to another guy who seems genuinely trying to assist me. Then I can see this guy struggling to find a ready room ... as the one room that he said ready was snapped up by another guy at reception. ************* it was finally resolved after long wait at the lobby. I'm not sure whether I received this kind of treatment because Ive booked via Trip.com and not directly with Hotel. But then I saw all my other friends who went to register with another reception guy, managed to get their room straight away, although they are also booking via other agents like *********** etc.

everything is good. the place near to setia city mall. the price is affordable and suit w the unit. the view also nice since i got the the top floor. the unit also clean and we love it so much. it would be nice if owner provide iron and hairdryer. the tv also work very well. unfortunately we have some trouble to find the place since it's very complicated. maybe owner can improve it by making video how to reach there instead of giving pics only. thanks!
