Seriously- do stay here! It's beautiful, genuinely Javanese, superbly comfortable, food is excellent, art is everywhere, staff are fantastic- I can't say how much I love this place. I'm bringing my family back. My tip is to fully embrace this experience. Take the massage. Walk in the village. Have the freely offered local herbal health drinks. Read the books. Appreciate the calls to prayer, even if you (like me) are not religious. After a big day out, this is a place to really come home to.

Amazing hotel. We had a separate house with a private pool. The rooms a big and clean. Service is great, very friendly. For breakfast you can choose a ‘package’, there is enough choice. Dinner was good as well, western food and Indonesian food. Great experience.

This hotel and the mission behind it was the perfect fit for my Village Experience group. The rooms were large and beautifully decorated. The gardens and pool area were immaculate. The restaurant was delicious and an incredibly serene atmosphere. The staff was amazing. We loved the batik textiles and wallpaper and the gorgeous artisan items for sale. I will be bringing many more groups to this hotel in the future!

The resort truly feels like a village. So peaceful and serene that I could just sit at any parts of the property and feel calm. The service was excellent, esp to the staff at Lotus Cafe who catered to my every request. Reason for rating 4 stars and not 5 is because the toilets/bathrooms need upgrading/refurbishing. We stayed at the 3 bedroom villa with private pool, and the toilets and bathrooms in those villas were old and flimsy. Take a quick shower as the hot water is not a steady stream and goes hot and cold.

This place is an awesome place to relax and spend time for yourself. The staff (everyone) is very courteous. Their smiling faces and ready to help you anytime goes beyond appreciation. Food, Hygiene are top class. If you plan to spend your vacation / time-off not within boxed luxurious places, this place is the recommended one. As a family we would love to visit anytime we are in Jogyakarta.

This property is located in the south of Yogyakarta. The rooms are very spacious and this is the first time we have slept in an extra extra large bed. The setting is green and magnificent. We have access to a small swimming pool but pleasant for cooling off. There is air conditioning in the rooms. There is WiFi. The staff is very welcoming and available. We tested the massages at €13 for 1 hour. The massages are super invigorating! Take advantage of it in Java because in Bali, it’s twice as expensive! The hotel's food is good and reasonably priced. The only problem is that the hotel is located under a minaret. For morning prayer, we are in the front row, first at 3:30 a.m. until 5 a.m. intermittently. In addition there are 3 to 4 mosques all around. This is why earplugs are offered by the hotel...
