Hotels Near Plata Park in Seville

Business hotel, breakfast dishes are very rich, swimming pool is very beautiful. We were lucky to meet the Sevilla football team when we stayed there at the end of April. The restaurant downstairs is also very delicious 😋 The location is also very good, just behind the Plaza de España

There are two Ibis hotels right next to each other, so, we went to the wrong hotel first. Once we found the right one, the staff's English was poor at best and the room extremely basic, a very small room with the sink and shower next to the bed and a 1/4 inch thick door going to the toilet. The wi-fi was extremely slow, 3.4 mbps, so streaming video was nearly impossible. We paid an additional €17 for breakfast when we checked-in, but when we arrived and started getting our food, a woman asked for our room number, telling us that breakfast was NOT included. Embarrassing us in front of all the guests, I told them to refund our money, but then they figured out that the non-English speaking woman verified the wrong room number. We were not even offered an apology for the embarrassment. Parking in their garage was €6 for 24 hours, not bad, but when we attempted to leave for the airport in the morning, the parking ticket machine said that our ticket was invalid, so we had to go back to reception where they contacted a non-English speaking security guard who let us out after paying him the €6. I had left my bag in the room and would return after dropping my wife off at the airport, the 24 hours would not expire until hours later, but was told that I would have to get a new ticket and pay another €6 if I wanted to park in the garage. Unbelievable! We were so late getting to the airport that my wife had to rush through security, tripping on a crack in the flooring, bruising her knees, and was wheeled to the gate in a wheelchair. Very good, 5 minutes walk from the central parking lot, the parking lot is also very good to find, very close to the palace, the church, and there are many restaurants around. One day, I ate in the apartment’s own restaurant. A tramp came over. The waiter in the restaurant immediately came to protect us and stood between us and the tramp. This touched me very much. You know, I have encountered a few tramps during dinner on this road. This is the only time the staff came to protect us.

Very good location. Close to the major sites. Difficult to find since it is in a set of alleyways. You cannot drive a car here, so if you have a vehicle, research parking first. The nearest underground lot at Jardine Murillo was full, so we found the San Bernardo Parking Lot, but it was a half-mile walk dragging luggage over cobblestones. This was not a deal-breaker; I mention it to be aware. The hotel was fine, the staff were rather cool and not too very friendly, but they were helpful enough. The room was fine and our room faced the alley with the outdoor restaurant, so we heard the noise until they closed, which was early enough. The rooftop terrace has a spectacular view of the cathedral and the Giralda tower, but the bar is not open. There is also no dinner at the hotel, but there are so many places nearby. The best thing is the location. It's pretty interesting staying in these medieval allies. The Real Alcazar palace is a must-see and you can spend all day there and still not see it all. The gardens are wonderful. The cathedral is huge and different from any that I have seen prior. And of course, you must walk up the 37 ramps of the Giralda tower. Take a stroll down to the river. Even the bull ring is nearby.

The hostel is located at the heart of Sevilla and made the city very walkable and convenient. Staff was conversational in English and was willing to help. However, there was only one set of laundry machines, of which the washing machine was unable to dissolve the cleaning powder (provided by the Hostel). There is also no stove in the common area.

Stayed with my girlfriend for three nights here and could not be happier. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. If you have the option to book a balcony room, we highly suggest it as the rooms face outward into a peaceful street. The room was more than big enough for the two of us. There is a highly rated coffee shop located in the lobby with a variety of foods as well. Additionally, there is a gallery on the fist floor above the lobby which is a great place to sit and enjoy your coffee in peace. Located in the middle of the shopping district, we enjoyed walking from store to store. The historic district and Alcazar are only a 10 minute walk from this location.

Upon arrival the staff were very friendly. My room was shocking and not what I was told I was getting so I asked to be moved. The room was much better although my window did not lock (room 6) and other people could enter my room. I never felt safe. The room was cleaned everyday and the cleaning staff were very good. Room 6 is adjoining to the lounge area and kitchen. It was noisy and although the cut off time for noise was 11.30pm it was completely ignored and people partied until after 3am. I was kept awake constantly and often went to reception to complain. The sofas were used for sexual activities and most mornings they were full of drunks, snoring from the night before. The Kitchen Well this was a disgrace. The fridges were constantly rammed with food and alcohol. The food was old and rancid liquids were mixing into peoples groceries. They were not checked on a regular basis. Names and departure dates were put on the food items and drinks but nobody took notice. I watched many people taking other peoples food and disposing of labels. Breakfast We had breakfast every morning in the bar and it was disgusting. The Choices were ; granola with yogurt and 3 slices of kiwi, 3 slices of banana and if you were lucky some sliced apple. 2 fried eggs, 2 slices of streaky bacon and 2 slices of dry toast (uncooked and was never given butter or jam) Spanish breakfast of a bread roll topped with tomato juice and a slice of ham. Tea or coffee and a fruit juice. The chef was a happy guy and very polite but food was terrible so my advice is eat out if you can afford it or risk food poising from the fridges. The hostel has a pool which I thought was going to be a bonus but it was filthy and even though it had signs saying no drink or food and no more than 8 people in it at a time. The rules were ignored and most mornings there was dead skin and food floating in it. There is no first aid trained staff on site No laundry facilities unless you want to pay for it to be done. We found a laundrette opposite Aldi. Shopping for food. There is a huge supermarket which is better than Aldi and has a good choice of microwave meals if you have the budget. Turn right out of main doors and then left and keep walking for about 400 meters cross the main road and it’s on your left.

The location is awesome. Reception staff was welcoming and friendly. Parking in the building is $20/day, which is convenient. You won't likely be driving anywhere around the surrounding area. The apartment itself is clean, comfortable and spacious enough. Basic amenities are available and much appreciated. Description of the listing is accurate. The bathroom door handle was broken; not a big deal but hope it gets fixed soon!

Lovely well equipped apartment fairly central in Sevillla. 2 good sized bedrooms, well equipped kitchen and good shower / bathroom. Used the roof top solarium and very tiny pool to cool down. Took about 15 minutes to walk into the monument area - with restaurants and shops close by. We ate at the end of the road on the first eve - great selection of Tapas and reasonably priced. Sevilla is a stunning city - enjoyed all the sights, great food and fabulous shopping centre. Triana great for food - especially in Central Market.

Stayed at this hotel with my siblings for 4 nights. The hotel looked nice, and staff were friendly and helpful so no complaints there. The reception staff are able to communicate in English which was great because we couldn't speak or understand Spanish. The room was nice and comfortable, pillows were soft and it didn't feel too hot because there is AC. Hotel provides free Wi-Fi, which you annoyingly have to keep reconnecting to, but that wasn't too much of an issue. The main downside of our stay here was the dirty hotel room floors. There was hair all over the floor, not just singular hairs but clumps of hair which was extremely gross. The entire 5 days we stayed there, not once were the floors cleaned. Towels were also not changed regularly. We put a towel down on the floor as a bathmat and it was just picked up and placed back on the rack. Another downside was the outside of the hotel sometimes smelled really bad, maybe of sewage I wasn't sure what it was. The location isn't exactly ideal as it's 20 minutes away from the city centre if you took the bus. We called an Uber every night to get back to the hotel because the last bus is before 10pm. Overall, I wouldn't say this is a 4 star hotel, it's more 3 star. But it's decent and provides a comfortable and safe place to stay.
