The elevator was broken, the jacuzzi jets were broken, the coffee maker was broken, and my husband almost injured himself sitting in a broken dining chair. Only offered an apology and no form of compensation. Overpriced and terrible customer service.

Worst customer service ever! We stayed in condo 632. The bathroom was infested with bugs, half of the lights and outlets didn’t work. We contacted customer service. They would not compensate for the inconvenience. We have stayed at these condos for the past 5 years at least twice a year. Never again. They have lost a repeat customer and they do not care. Do NOT stay at a Jackson Mountain vacation property.

We went for a nine day vacation that included the 4th of July. About a week before we left, we received a phone call that the AC in our unit was currently out but would be fixed the next day after we arrived. They did offer us a different room for that one night or they could put portable AC units in there for that night. We are from the southern states so we are a little used to the heat so instead of having to up and move right after we got there, we chose to stay in that room. The next day came and went and still no AC. This continued for the next three days and the weather started getting hotter by the day. It stayed about 79 degrees (sometimes higher) inside our condo. The third day we were offered to move into a different room for the next three nights. Since we were tired of the 80 degree temps, we took them up on the offer even though we really didn’t want to pack up and move on our vacation but we were miserable. We were told that we would either have to move back in that room after the third day or cut our stay short and leave. After the third day in the new room, still no AC in our original room. We also saw them taking the two portable AC units from our room the same day we moved out so if we did need to go back to that room, we would no longer have the AC units to help out. I called around and luckily found us a condo in the area to be able to continue our trip and not have to go home. However, I did still have access to our original room. We went back in the night before were were to go home and someone had been in there (while it was still in our name) and turned all the fans off and put them back in the closets. It was 83 in that room. The AC hadn’t been fixed and no one had asked if we were staying or going. Why were they in our room? I also forgot to mention that upon our arrival, there was a stinch to the room that we had never noticed before for any of our stays. We’ve stayed here MANY times before and we also discussed purchasing a condo here one day because it overlooks the parkway. We had to move three times on our week long vacation. We never felt settled, we didn’t get what we were promised and the only thing they did do to compensate us for our heated stay and inconvenience was to reimburse us the last three nights that they assumed (never asked) we would be leaving for. I did call and how gracious were they to give us $200 additional on the three nights we had to stay in the heat. I’m ok with us paying for the three nights we had to stay in another room but we were extremely inconvenienced and it wasn’t the room we had picked out. Wow! Only $200 for ruining our vacation. That wasn’t even enough to cover one of those nights in the inferno. We DID NOT get what we paid for. To find out, the owner of the condo snail mailed the check and they couldn’t even schedule the AC repairmen until the check was received. Whispering Pines 422 was BEAUTIFUL! We rented through Forever Rentals and we were super impressed! We had such a clean condo. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook if we wanted. The indoor pool was super close and provided entertainment on rainy days!!

NEVER EVER RENT FROM HERE!!! I rented a condo for June 2024. I ask before booking it if we could cancel because my mother in law is 93 and if she can’t come then we would have to cancel. I was told yes I could cancel for a refund of my deposit if I purchased the insurance, so of course I paid extra and got the insurance. Well my mother in law fell and broke 2 ribs that is not healing like they should, so I called to cancel and was told that I would have to file a claim through the insurance company. “BIG JOKE”. I have been trying to do this since late November or early December and have yet got this claim taken care of. I have filled out dozens of papers (all through email) because they won’t do it any other way. I even got doctors reports, emergency room report and all the other tons of papers emailed to them. Only to hear from them that I give the wrong claim number. I screenshot the email where they give me the claim number and told them that it was the number they had given me……well now they sent back even more forms to fill out which I did today January 5th and sent it in. Now I’m sure they will come back with another reason for keeping my $228.00. I am to the point where I’m going to report them to the Better Business Bureau!

A smoke alarm battery indicator was going off in our room. The management refused to replace the battery or stop the incessant chirping! We could not reach it without a ladder. They were completely unmoved. We couldn’t sleep with that going on. They refused to find us another room. Instead they kept saying that it was out of their control! What?!! We had to find another place to stay in the middle of the night. Completely irresponsible and uncaring. Do not stay here!
