Knole B&B
4.6/59 Reviews
This is a truly brilliant find - great location, outstanding accommodation, charming hosts and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. The continental breakfast platter and fruit bowl were delicious. You can saunter into town through historic Knole Park, walk to Riverhill Himalayan Gardens or to the White Hart for dinner. It’s all on your doorstep! Knole B & B is definitely the place to book when visiting Sevenoaks. It beats any local hotel hands down!

Comfortable rooms, great food, and wonderful staff! All of the food was fantastic, but I am a fan of the eggs Benedict, and my goodness the sticky toffee pudding!!! The beds are comfortable and the rooms are well kept and stocked. We have had several long stays recently, and looking forward to returning soon!
Cbh Donnington Manor Hotel

To be totally honest it was a mixed bag. We stayed here for the NYE party event. Check in was fine although the receptionist wanted to check our room before we went in, not sure what for but she came in and pushed around on the sofa bed, seemed happy then left. We had two family rooms, great size and our friends had a slightly smaller room, however were fine and comfortable. The little extras in the bathroom were a nice touch. Half of the ppl in our group decided to meet up at the bar for a drink at around 4pm on NYE we went to order a Guinness, only to be told they had sold out. The bar was pretty empty so surprising they hadn't restocked before even more so as its NYE, the wine was warm as was the tonic. So we had to put a lot of ice in our drinks to cool them down. We went back up to our rooms before meeting back in the restaurant for dinner. There were little NYE favors on the table which was a lovey idea. The food was amazing. All of us enjoyed our dinner although one of the meals was forgotten, however they cooked it promptly and bought it out. The main issue we had again was the drinks. Two of the girls orders cocktails. They bought the wrong ones out. They went back to correct it. Then all the other drinks were completely forgotten about. We got up to find the host who then bought the bottle of wine out, although we still hadn't received the kids soft drinks or the larger. So during the main meal we had to get up again to find the host to request our drinks. We were them bought the soft drinks. Still no beer. So when we finished our meal one of us went to the bar outside the restaurant to order it ourselves. This was all really disappointing particularly on NYE to not receive our drinks, if anything you would expect a waiter to be on hand topping up glasses asking if we required additional drinks let alone the first ones! They massively missed a money making opportunity here, you don't expect to go out for a nice meal on NYE without receiving drinks until plates are empty. So meals over and up to the party. It was advertised as a family party with kids activities. We were thinking maybe some of the retro party music, DJ getting the kids up, traditional kids party music, maybe even some little party games early on for them. However there was just a variety of hats and dress up glasses for them to try on, again not a huge issue other then would of been nice for the children but possibly something Donnington Manor could look into for next year. Drinks became an issue yet again. We asked for a Corona, was told they had sold out upstairs and to go to the downstairs bar. Asked for a corona at the bar downstairs told by bar person don't have any. We had to point them out to them. We requested a jug of water for the kids. upstairs bar said no jugs, downstairs bar no jugs, another person from our group went and asked, finally got a jug of water. The tonic they were using in the gin from the upstairs bar was from
