The hotel is extremely lovely. The staff have been absolutely fabulous. I can’t say enough good things about them. They’re absolute great people. They all go out of their way to please you which is awesome. The surroundings it’s not too bad it’s walkable, but just be aware. However, I will admit I went to the mall had a great time. This is a really nice place and the rooms are fabulous. I definitely recommend this hotel.😎👍

I spent a weekend at Sana with my girlfriend. We didn’t have a good experience. 1) the breakfast is very limited for a 4 star hotel that charges 100+ a night. Aside from standard eggs, mushrooms and cheese, there are very limited options. Also, they bring very limited quantities and hence people almost have to fight over food. 2) the staff is not helpful. For instance, we book 2 nights in different rooms and given that we arrived late we asked to go to the second room directly. They said it was not available. It happened that the first room they gave us didn’t have a working aircon and after this, the second room miraculously became available. 3) hotel charges you $12 per night. Mind blowing. If you park in front of the hotel on the street by the ocean, and you don’t pay the fee and get a fine, it amounts to $8. Ridiculous. Very poor experience and won’t go back for sure.

Also below CV19-Bedingungen I expect a hotel that adheres to the facade with four stars to a lot more.
Every morning the same processes, coffee in ToGo cups in a paper bag together with a apple and wooden knife, incrusted ”sandwich” in alufolium with always the same coating ( disk cheese disk cooks******e dry without butter).
With some luck it managed to not shake the coffee and everything is dry. But this a piece of fruit is now beautifully warm.
Or it's all swept and the day and breakfast is ”saturated”.
No trace of a table, a normal cup, a normal beet etc.
Eating from the hotel kitchen is unfortunately not worth the price.
Carpaccio is beautifully made and fully frozen in the middle, so fresh is different. The hamburger on the one hand is “mini” and in the dry bread that falls out when looking (13€) are a joke, unfortunately not funny.
Bach now several stays, forcefully as everything else is closed, I will change immediately as soon as alternatives are available.
Hotel itself is clean new and modernly furnished, but dues is destroyed by the circumstances described above

my partner and I stayed here for a week. The location is good and the views are amazing. People are friendly. What surprised me is that the breakfast was not included in the price and to be honest 7,5 euros per person for breakfast is too much, especially what's offered and knowing that if you take breakfast in a local cafe you might pay 3 or 4 per person. The hotel needs urgent maintenance. We had a safe in the room that we could not use as it was not working.

We were on February 16, and the staff were nice but still little experienced.Excellent location with exceptional view of the terrace/bar.Good room,but with too large bed for the space, though comfortable. The room and the facilities were clean Small breakfast suffering for im hotel 4*.The buffet is poorly organized: - the compots are not identified - there are no bigger cakes to eat yoghurt with fruit - the fruit is cut too thick - they have no The fruit was not mature, and the bread (balls) was of a painful quality. There is no timely collection of dirt mouth on the table The ambient music is a real disaster. It's discotheque music (pum catapum), and it's always very high. We were in the bar to relax and read,we asked to download the sound,but yet it is too uncomfortable.The ambient music in a hotel must be relaxing,soft and with low sound.You don't go to a hotel to hear discotheque music!!! The price is high for quality.

After making a reservation for a room with a double bed, through this platform, I arrived at the hotel and was received in a room with two single beds.
After a brief conversation with the employee, it was explained to me that this would have been the information passed through the reservation platform. As the hotel did not have double rooms available for the night in question, I ended up spending the night in this same room. I feel a lack of confidence in booking again through this medium, as it was the first time that this has happened to me as well as my first experience through this platform.

GGuest UserThe establishment is just as you'd expect from the photos posted, with tasteful, sophisticated, individualized room decor. It's a far cry from the cold, impersonal chain hotels. The building and rooms are a perfect combination of authenticity and modernity. The staff are charming, attentive, caring and hyper-responsive. Perfect check-in and check-out. Great location, good soundproofing, very good bedding; however, I deplore the 2 single beds for a couple. Reasons for the 3 out of 5 rating: you get the impression that a lot of attention has been paid to the aesthetics of the rooms (which we loved), but there's a real lack of storage space, which is almost non-existent; this is still acceptable for our 2 nights, but I won't be coming back for a longer stay, and therefore with more belongings. Another black mark is the breakfast: it's taken in the bakery lounge on the first floor. While the RM Guesthouse is intended to be a cocoon, the bakery room is certainly bright and clean, but not up to scratch. What's more, the choices are relatively limited: why not a formula with a choice of hot beverage (and not just coffee), a viennoiserie to choose from (and not just croissants), etc.? In my hotel choices, breakfast is an important element, and as explained, in my opinion it's a long way from what an establishment like the RM Guesthouse should offer.

GGuest UserFeels like a Five Star Hotel. Fabulous rooms. Clean Comfortable and Modern. €45 for a single great value. Was given a free upgrade and a drink at the bar FOC. Reception staff awesome. Would highly recommend. I never want to leave! Easy walking distance to restaurants and supermarkets.

GGuest UserWe are both handicapped (knees and hipproblems) and wanted a room with a bathroom with a shower and not a shower in the bath). Because of our physical problems we wanted that guranteed. The hotel refused that and said this was only a option and the management decides on check in if we get a room with a shower or a room with shower in bath. I told the people at the reservationsdepartment that this would be very bad for us in case we would want to check in and room with shower would not be available. Reaction: Sorry, but these are our rules. Even a phonecall with their headoffice brougt the same message: These are our rules. In my opinion is this not only rude, customer unfriendly but also discriminating ! So, be warned if you have problems with getting in a bathtub. On their website it says: Bath or Shower, what they mean is: we decide what you get.

GGuest UserThis is a 3-star hotel masquerading as a 4-star hotel. The units that were recently renovated got the landlord special: the doorknobs were falling off the bathroom door, the A/C just didn’t work (the staff insisted it did, but we needed to open the window regardless), and the shower doesn’t have a proper barrier so water gets literally everywhere despite your best efforts. The rooms are tiny giving you no space to get takeout or eat a snack. There are plenty of tables downstairs and poolside but the staff insist you cannot bring outside food even though there is no restaurant using those tables and the tables have no use outside of breakfast. The rooms are expensive for the location and amenities. There is a pool but honestly you don’t come to Portugal to swim in a hotel pool. I’ve stayed at many hotels and I’ve never had a worse experience at a so-called “4-star” hotel. At least with 3 star hotels they’re cheaper and you know what you’re getting. We actually had a better stay at another local hotel last week. A large family suite with powerful air conditioning for far less than this tiny double bed room with a vent that blows oddly humid and slightly cool air.

GGuest UserWhat a little rustic gem, old style charm, the rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. The staff were all superb so friendly and helpful and welcoming this was a huge plus. The beds were freshly made every day without fail and clean fresh linens and towels provided. The buffet breakfast was good with a variety of fresh fruits, yoghurts, cereals, salami, hans, cheese and hot buffet; bacon, sausages eggs! Rolls and sweet pastries so plenty to choose from. Fresh coffee and tea as well as a choice of juices…. For the price it was good value.
