The location of the hotel is very good, not far from the bus station and the railway station, there is a big park opposite, about 15 minutes walk to the port. The breakfast quality is good, the service is also very good, and there is a free shuttle bus to the beach

We booked this hotel not knowing much about it from the U.S. we are staying 19 days and it is a wonderful hotel. The people are very nice and professional. The room is very basic like we were looking for and very clean. The breakfast has a great variety of breads and fruit with eggs and sausages. The coffee is very good with a wide variety. I would recommend this to anyone that doesn’t need a fancy place to stay with great service and clean rooms. Thank you Hotel Litau for a great stay.

Location is wonderful, and so is the whole building and surroundings. But comparing price/quality there is really something missing. We spent 3 nights in weekend High season, but there was no management at all.We had to wait more than 3 hours before we could have our room, although we send a mail to ask for an earlier check in than 16.00. Not possible, we have to waited till 16.15 . We have been in many 5 stars places all over the world, but never had this situation. Thanks to Mr Joao de Sousa we we're calm down. He treated and helped us later with everything, and that made our stay good. Our superior terras room was located perfect, clean and cool, but the decoration is for that price some dated. The bathroom very small and not really comfortable. In the adults pool only three umbrellas, to protect all the guests from the sun. sunbeds we're not very clean, and the pool towels, is really not done, in a 5 star Hotel member of the Leading hotels of the world. The quality of the breakfast was 3 stars, only 2 sorts of unripe fruit, and no fresh bread at all. We have had diner several times, at the fantastic Terras outside, but please put mores covering to protect people for the extreme sunburning. quality of the food was good, specially my fish was perfect prepared, and again I say, the very kind service of Mr Joao, David, and several other members of the restaurant was really touching. They did their job more than fantastic. So overall, the place has so many strong assets, location, building, history, surroundings, but some for us important details we're missing, and the feeling that there was no management to talk with, but the location is Portugal on it's best! Hotel in the centre of Montijo with all the comforts around,parking outside and indoor,the rooms are large comfortably furnished and the best service.During the entire stay,cafe and tea is described,I recommend 100%

We stayed for 5 nights and found that the hotel was not at a 4 star rating standard. Good points: - We had a great view of the beach from our room - 2 min walk to beach Bad points: - a general lack of enthusiasm and purpose from staff at hotel. We found ourselves constantly waiting for things and would find out key information about the facilities as our stay rolled on. There was always lots of staff on reception but no one was doing anything. - They will nickel and dime you for everything, even the coffee capsule in your room! - large bed but uncomfortable - The hotel is stuck in a kind of early 2000’s time warp. I’m sure it was great back in the day but has fallen into disrepair. - shower and bathroom not cleaned to a high enough standard, mould visible. - breakfast was basic and not at a 4 star standard, eggs tasted like flour and bacon was processed. Sesimbra is a beautiful destination and if we had our time over again, we’d stay further down the beach at another hotel or Air B&B. You’re effectively paying for the view at this place but that’s about it.

We were on February 16, and the staff were nice but still little experienced.Excellent location with exceptional view of the terrace/bar.Good room,but with too large bed for the space, though comfortable. The room and the facilities were clean Small breakfast suffering for im hotel 4*.The buffet is poorly organized: - the compots are not identified - there are no bigger cakes to eat yoghurt with fruit - the fruit is cut too thick - they have no The fruit was not mature, and the bread (balls) was of a painful quality. There is no timely collection of dirt mouth on the table The ambient music is a real disaster. It's discotheque music (pum catapum), and it's always very high. We were in the bar to relax and read,we asked to download the sound,but yet it is too uncomfortable.The ambient music in a hotel must be relaxing,soft and with low sound.You don't go to a hotel to hear discotheque music!!! The price is high for quality.

We have stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and I must say it was the most clean, well organised and comfortable hotel I have been so far. All I have missed was a swimming pool but well we cannot have everything haha, they have got a huge bath so that’s the plus for not having swimming pool 😋. I can highly recommend staying at this hotel. Everyday they made sure our room is clean very spacious room and bathroom. Everyday we have got an AMAZING breakfast and DELICIOUS dinner with fresh juice. I don’t know guys who is your chef but take care of him/her as in whole Lisboa and Almada I haven’t eaten better than at yours restaurant. Very reasonable price and the meals were very very tasty. Nothing to add. Thank you so much for your hospitality. You went an extra mile to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Easy and nice underground access to the Parking as well which is an important if you rent a car. Everything 10/10!
