My wife and I stayed at the Hotel on 18 December's, 2024. We went because we were attracted to their, pre Christmas ”Fireside Getaway ” offer at £125.00 and , including, a £20 credit towards the evening meal. The whole visit was excellent in every way. The room was superb, the hotel rooms ( bar lounges etc) were Christmas decorated ( not overdone but pretty much just right) and were warm, characterful and generally charming. The evening meal was good and ALL the staff excellent. The background to us booking, was that a few weeks ago, I was walking , in Settle area fells.After the wallk, my walking group went for coffee. We were treated with such excellent goodwill and service that this was a major factor in my wife and I being attracted to the hotel. People often say that corporate hotels have no character and are just ”so so”. This company 's hotel ( staff etc) shows that this is not always the case. Well done.We will be back.
