Old, not pretty room, poor euipped ( plastic glasses, no thin curtain...), but expensive. Noisy by night-tour groups every night. No space for diving equipment. This hotel is the symbol of the poor accommodation at Koniya.

This is a small business hotel located in the center of town with about 20 rooms. There is a supermarket and a convenience store about a 5-minute walk away, and the ferry terminal to Kakeroma Island is within walking distance, making it very convenient. The rooms are simple but spacious with large beds, and the air conditioning can be adjusted individually for each room, making for a comfortable stay. The building is old, but the rooms are well-cleaned and clean. Breakfast is served from 7am and there is only one Japanese set menu. Free coffee is provided at breakfast. By the way, this hotel is where the film crew stayed during the filming of the movie "Otoko wa Tsurai yo" and the lobby is filled with autographs from the director and actors, making it a charming hotel for Tora-san fans.

まず、気に入らなかった点ではなく、気になった点として記載します。
画像ではわかりにくいですが、建物は古かったです。
それに付随して、付属の設備も古くなってきています。
気になるのは、ユニットバスの隅々にある取れなくなっているであろうカビです。
そして窓も年代を感じますし、外部の音が聞こえやすいです。
不潔なものはありませんが、総評として言えば、神経質な方にはお勧めしません。
老朽化しているので、それなりです。
また近隣で食事処も少ないので、観光案内所等の活用や事前のリサーチやが必須です。
奄美大島自体がそんなに都会ではないので、普通のホテルではないかと感じました。

立地が良く、食事や土産物購入に便利。建物・設備はくたびれたところがあり、壁紙の一部が剥がれているところがあるが、実質的に困ることなく、リーゾナブルな料金。朝食は前日に頼めば７時から１階の食堂で摂れるのもGood！
