Hotel Hermitage

Lovely atmosphere with great friendly staff who really couldn’t do enough for you. Rooms were very clean and warm. Bar area good to share the odd Bombadino ! Ski hire just next door and very efficient. Great you can also book ski passes at reception.

A good value hotel, perfect for our 3 night stay. Rooms very clean, serviced daily. Friendly and helpful staff who speak English and made our visit a good one. Ski/boot hire just next door. Recommend trying the Bombadino’s in the bar after a day skiing! Many thanks.

Hotel is under new management since December 2021 , so when reading reviews check the date they were written. Hotel location is excellent,very close to ski slopes, ski hire, ski school and a bar / restaurant run by the same management. Breakfast was very good, cereals, yogurt , fruit , cakes, eggs sausages , hams, cheeses and a delicious quiche. The food at dinner was excellent, a 3 course meal, very tasty and varied antipasti , then a main course and dessert. The chef was flexible with the food choices and adapted when necessary. Rooms are comfortable, the ones downstairs were recently refurbished , we stayed upstairs ,the rooms were a good size and had balconies overlooking the slopes. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to help and sort out any minor problems we had. There is a minibus taxi service to Sestriere center from right outside the hotel, it runs from the morning till 11 pm. Timetable is at reception, and the staff phone and book it for the guests Ski room is on the ground floor , so you just walk out onto the drive in . The hotel also arranged transfers for Turin airport to the hotel at a very reasonable price. Excellent service all round, the staff were polite and professional and we really enjoyed our stay. Will definitely return!
