Residence Nube d'Argento

Only the kindness of all the staff deserves 10 stars. Having escaped from a hotel in the center of Sestriere as it was chaotic and focused on nightlife, the Nube residence welcomed us in less than 4 hours from the last minute booking. As soon as we arrived everything was simple as the parking available is next to the structure and this makes it easier to unload your luggage. The room and its bathroom were perfectly clean, a well heated environment, small but functional with a kitchenette available inside the room. The view of the mountain is enchanting. The area is very quiet so you can sleep peacefully and in the morning the area being small makes you feel welcome by the few locals. The residence is less than 50 meters from the chairlift, ski rent, bar, restaurant and ski pass. Everything conveniently close by. The breakfast available at the Hermitage hotel a few meters away is plentiful and of good quality including bacon, eggs, savory pies, cured meats, cheeses, sweet cakes, croissants, cereals etc... Dinner includes an appetizer, a first course, second course and dessert. This too is good and simple. What in my opinion makes this place magical is everything, the people, the smallness of the village, the simplicity and authenticity of things, finding yourself in the bar in the evening having a drink.... For me this is the true image of a holiday in mountain. For those looking for luxury, resorts and spas it is better to look elsewhere. Here you find hospitality and simplicity.

The residence is clean and the staff very friendly you are close to the slopes. The sky box would need to be heated a little more however with the agreement with the hotel the final price is excellent if you want to rent skis there is also a ski school just a few steps away, the structure is a little dated but clean
