The location is good and the view is undeniably beautiful, but the room configuration is not worth it at 2600 a night. The price/performance ratio is not high. The room has no sense of design and is not warm. It is so ordinary that I have no impression. The staff only greeted the white people when they met two or three people, and did not even smile at the Chinese. Only a short boy introduced us and warmly welcomed us at dinner. The other service awareness is not as good as other hotels I have stayed in Namibia. I had a bad impression for the first time. The lady who fried eggs for breakfast was impatient with us and had a very unhappy face. A white person came later, but she took the initiative to greet us how r u When we checked out, we informed the front desk of our dissatisfaction and we will never stay at this hotel again because we needed four rooms and we booked this hotel because all other hotels were fully booked.

The hotel is 200 meters outside the desert park. The room is clean and tidy. Dinner under the stars is so romantic. There are also quiver trees planted in the hotel, and the swimming pool faces the desert🏜️

It was the best place to stay while traveling in Sossusvlei. The breakfast and dinner were really delicious and the staff was friendly. The Wi-Fi in the room was not very good and only worked near the bar, but the view and the room condition were perfect.

The room was clean and tidy, the dinner was rich, the environment was special, and it exceeded my expectations. The only drawback was that only the bar had a signal, and the room did not have Wi-Fi. There was no signal, and occasionally a text message could be sent for several minutes, which was equivalent to a network disconnection. The bar closed at 9:00 pm. However, there was no signal in the Red Desert Scenic Area and even on the road. It was windy at night, and the sand hit the glass door, making a little noise. Special thanks to Ctrip customer service. When I placed the order, I used the default date. After payment, I found the error and communicated with Ctrip. The customer service was very proactive in contacting the local agent and helped me change the date to the next day for free.

There is a meal package for one less person in the single room. So that people who live in a single room don't need to be expensive. The flexibility is high and then it is available immediately (we booked temporarily when the original accommodation was not as expected)

I took the scenic flight (route 2 the 'Forbidden coast area known as Lang Wand') on 9 January 2025. One of the main reasons I choose that flight was I was told I would be able to see Big Daddy Dune and 45 Dune. I had just climbed both of these dunes earlier that day and felt it would be great getting a photo of where I was at from above in the plane. When I spoke with the lady in the office, prior to signing up, she showed me a photo on the wall of the area I would see which Clearly showed both dunes. Prior to taking off, the pilot took us to a map to explain what we would see on the flight. He specifically stated both sides would be able to see both Big Daddy and Dune 45. He never stated the people on the left side of the aircraft were going to need to lean over the person in the right seat to see the dunes--you're tightly buckled in your seat so there isn't much movement. I took his statement as he would position the plane so both sides had equal viewing of the dunes. When we were near the dunes, he did mention the dune was right down there--as he pointed off to the right side of the aircraft. I looked over there but couldn't see the dune because it was below the aircraft windowsill on that side. What I thought he was going to do was swing the plane around and give the people on the left side of the aircraft an equal chance at seeing both dunes. He did not do that -- he headed out toward the coast. The same thing happened at the coast where he flew the aircraft so the right side could see the coast and the fishing village, but the left side only seen the ocean. I was able to get a photo and view the village, but I needed to physically reach over the lady to my right to both see and take the photo. I don't even know this person and my elbow is basically resting on her chest to take the photo. I don't feel that is a proper nor comfortable situation for either guest on that flight. The reason I reached over for the village was I had figured out the left side of the aircraft was not going to get equal time to view these areas, so I at least wanted to get a pic of one of the items I was told I would see. On the way back I asked the pilot if we were going to get a chance for the left side of the plane to see the two dunes we had missed. He informed me there wasn't time and we had our chance earlier. Upon landing I addressed the issue with the pilot and even asked the lady sitting behind me if she seen those two dunes. She shook her head 'NO' but stated her daughter was able to take a photo of them. Well, that's fantastic for her but I didn't have a family member sitting on the right side, so I missed out on those two photos. When I brought the issue up to the office staff with the pilot present, they asked him if that is the way he always flys that route--he stated it was. It obviously makes sense to fly the route the way he did if there is one or two people on that plane but when the plane is full or has a person in the left seat this
