Checkin could be faster (it took us almost 30min), albeit they were on a very busy day.
Breakfast was included and it was AMAZING. Room was clean but not exceptionally clean. Overall it just looks like the hotel had seen better days.

Wonderful hotel! No details regarding comfort, location and food. One point to complain about is: there is a large parking lot but they charge per day and say it is outsourced.

Terrible!!! I have been a customer of the Golden for years. I had not been there for a few years and this return was horrible. I only found out now that it was sold to another hotel chain. The hotel is clearly in decline. Rude staff. I was greeted by a guy at the reception who didn't even look at my face while he was serving me. When I got to the room, I was surprised by a bed that was a combination of two old single beds, uneven, and the mattress went all the way to the bottom... the bathroom had a loose toilet, a leak in the shower, it was horrible. There are no amenities in the rooms, but there are bottles filled with soap and conditioners that you don't even know the origin of. In the second room, there was so little soap in the bottle that we had to divide it up to take a shower. I had gone to celebrate my wedding anniversary and I couldn't even sleep hugging my husband because the bed had something very hard in the middle of it, which was the junction of the uneven boards... I asked to change rooms and this was done after a while and it was necessary to reorganize everything... no one expects to go to a hotel like this, with this daily rate, and be put in a room with leftover furniture and a bus station bathroom. The hallways have floor cloths spread out to contain the water that drips incessantly from the ceiling. Breakfast was not great... Internet was fluctuating all the time... Golden decadent.
