Zafiro Palace Andratx

The most incredible hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The staff and service at the Zafiro Palace was fantastic! Upon arriving we had some small issues with allergen labels in the main restaurant. This was quickly resolved and it was noted throughout the other restaurants to accommodate us where possible on other food options. The hotel is located in such a beautiful area, less than a 10 minute walk to the beach. We did also have a car hire which was really useful to us as we had a young baby. Whilst the hotel gives an extremely luxury feel, you did not at all feel outcasted by having babies or children around, the staff are so lovely with everyone. Our room was a side sea view in block 3, it was so quiet and peaceful that we have decided next year we will be staying on that side again. We can’t wait to return again next year, thank you to all the staff for making our holiday one of the best!

We had mixed experiences at the Zafiro Palace Andratx, staying half board in the Zafiro Club. First, the pos ives. A very warm welcome was given, and our bags were immediately taken to the room. In the room was a good bottle of red wine, a bottle of gin , ice, lemons and tonic. Very welcome after our journey. There was a choice of pillows , comfy bed , and plenty of space. Just like many modern hotels , the bathroom had no door ( something I don't like) . The mini bar was restocked every day and there was always plenty of water. Evening: there was a plate of fruits, chocolate, or cheese left in the room. The breakfast, as noted in many of the previous reviews, was excellent. There are many pools and so many beds and cabanas that there was never any competition for space. We had an excellent massage in the spa, and the instructor who led the exercise classes was trained and knowledgeable. All the staff we met were warm and wanted to help. The whole resort was very clean and the gardens carefully tended On the downside, we were expecting ( given how good the breakfast was , and the hotel blurb) the evening meals to match. We eat at the 3 restaurants. The tomahawk steak was very good but the vegetables were very soggy and inedible.. In another restaurant, we had to tell the waiter twice what our order was but the wrong meal still came, leaving me eating on my own while my husband's meal was cooked, In the third restaurant, we asked for the noodles to be spicy but it came so heavily coated in chilli power it was inedible and the dessert was again not what was ordered. Surprisingly, there was very little fish/seafood on the menus.

We stayed as a family of three from the 10th to the 17th of May so still early in the season, the hotel didn't appear to be anywhere near full but that suited us perfectly. The hotel is a 30 min direct transfer from the airport and situated at the top of a reasonably steep hill. The hotel itself is absolutely brilliant, the grounds and facilities are immaculate, there was plenty of open space to get photos taking in the great views the hotel offers. The main buffet restaurant had a great selection and a different theme every night, we struggled to book the other restaurants whilst there so I would do that in advance or on arrival. The standard of friendliness and service from the staff was exceptional. Our favourite parts were the blue lounge bar, the sky pool (pool and food truck on the roof) and the hot tub as part of the room/balcony. There were a lot of young children (including ours) during our visit so if you are looking for adults only I would think twice, we heard a few grumbles from other residents but we never felt the children were noisy or bothersome at all. There are a few restaurants within a fifteen minute walk, although the return journey is a fairly steep hill. All in all a great holiday.

This is a wonderful place to stay if you want a relaxing vacation! The staff is fantastic - everyone is so friendly, and the cleanliness is phenomenal! This hotel is a terrific value - if you are looking for a place to recharge and relax, this is the place.

Fantastic 10 day stay, beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, spotless rooms and grounds. The food in the restaurants were some of the best we've ever eaten in a hotel, certainly to restaurant standard. There were never any problems getting a sun bed, and we loved the food trucks! We stayed in block 3 which overlooked the golf course and had a side sea view, our room was a penthouse with an upstairs with plunge pool. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk into the local town which had shops, bars and restaurants although we didn't try them as we were booked all inclusive. There are 4 restaurants on site plus the main buffet and we never had any problems booking a table. We will definitely be back! Tips: each room has it's own wifi which is accessed through a QR code on the TV. All restaurants have QR codes with their menus, but we found it easier to download the Zafir hotel app

Excellent hotel, room, food, and staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful The many pools were great, different one everydsy. Great free classes to join in with, Fabulous spa Genuinely no negatives except when weather is bad, and small lack of cozy space to sit in all day
