New hotel, good tv, good aircon, but blows into the head of the bed.I got free upgrade to windowed room (but it doesn't open). Nearby there is a local diner (simple) and next door is a coffee shop with bakery things. You can reach this by bus from airport, STAND B10 at level 1 of KLIA2 (exit 3 or 5 i can't remember), the same bus also pucks up at KLIA1, the bus stops (on demand) about 100 metres from the hotel and costs 3MYR. you pay to the driver directly. Ask locals for help or just watch the maps as you go.

First impressions as i open the rooms door, very strong smell of human urine, bau sangat hancinggg. Tempat duduk toilet dah berwarna kelabu, tisu toilet pon dah tinggal suku ja. Kebersihan toilet tidak memuaskan hati. Katil, tilam ok empuk, bantal pon ok jugak. Tv ok banyak channel boleh tengok.

Memorable stay at S8 Boutique Hotel I came in on 10th Dec 2020, I was offered a single standard room without a window. Most probably they offered this room due to my request on the lowest budget since I had to stay a longer period due to work factor. After a short nap, I had visited the reception and a young gentleman who is the Hotel Operation Manager by the name of Siva approached me to understand further on my needs, the reasons of my stay since and my preferences. After a short discussion, Siva had arranged a Deluxe Double with Balcony. It has all I need, I felt soo much of comfort, the Wifi was working better then I expected since I had to write a lot of articles and reading. As I was Management Pilot and work related stress was really an nature of our industry. Peaceful and complete silent is what I personally desire and need at the most during current situation. S8 Boutique Hotel has all your needs. I stayed many hotels due to my nature of industry but I personally felt S8 Boutique Hotel personalize their services into individuality, I really felt like I am at home. Besides Mr. Siva, another 2 staffs who was working there is Safuhah and Syuhada. Both of them never fails me, they always ensure my rooms are clean. Let me share some of the photos taken during my stay at S8 Boutique Hotel. Capt.Lakshan

We booked this as a 1 night stopover because of its close proximity to KLIA. Through Agoda. When our taxi arrived at what turned out to be the entrance to the apartment block he was as confused as us. No signs to say what it was. Apparently the apartment owners were supposed to send us details of location, apartment number and which box number located next to the security guard, our key was in. We only found this out after our taxi driver made enquiries with a security guard, who luckily for us supplied him with a phone number to ring. He then kindly called the number for us and found out the info we should have received prior to landing in Kuala Lumpur. Apparently the owner told him they didn’t send the info as they didn’t have any contact details for us. If that’s the case then Agoda are at fault as they had both my email and phone number. If we had had to make the call it would have cost us a fortune as we did not have a Malaysian SIM card as only there one night. So eventually we managed to locate the box with our key in then the security guard directed us to our allocated apartment. We passed several apartment doors that had metal grills on them. That tells you something about the apartments I think! We found out apartment and opened the door and we both just looked at each other. The dust on the low hanging light shade, over the dining table was absolutely thick with dust. There were cobwebs in most corners of the room. There were stains on the ceiling and walls. The wardrobe had a handle missing and the coffee table was marked all over. The bed looked grubby and when we checked there was no mattress protector either. The bathroom had stains along the back of the sink. The shower had a waist high window in it to outside without any privacy whatsoever. So although 11 floors up your upper body was visible to the surrounding roads. This window was open when we got there so we made the mistake of looking immediately outside the window and found used tampons, tissues, cigarette butts, plastic bottles, and a whole lot of other rubbish sitting just below the window ledge. We wanted to leave immediately. We could not have spent another hour in the apartment never mind a night. We couldn’t call the owner as the taxi driver still had the phone number. So we logged into the apartment WiFi and booked into a Holiday Inn which was just around the corner. We contacted Agoda after moving hotels to let them know the circumstances and why we had moved. They contacted the owner who refused to refund our money as we should have contacted them first so they could move us to another apartment. Why this apartment was available to let in the condition it was in is a mystery to me. GO THERE AT YOUR OWN PERIL
