The staff at the counter were really warm! 4 ladies shared the same dormitory and 1 shower room. There is only 1 hairdryer in the room to go around, I can’t help but to feel a little conscious if I were to use the hairdryer at night it might disturb my room mates. Breakfast every morning were in the common area with white toast and eggs (you have to fry it yourself and wash dishes yourself), coffee, juice and milk are also provided with cornflakes I think that’s nice. Because Itaewon is on Line 6, going around to the more tourist areas are slightly difficult, but I loved it because there is a straight bus to Sinsa and Gangnam. Laundry room is also free and good! It takes roughly 2h~ to finish washing and drying clothes (if you use the speed wash mode). The bed was very clean and very spacious, side power plug and hook basket for your common items like phone and wallet is great! Usually I would not stay capsules or hostels for more than 1 night, but I stayed here for 3 days 2 nights, it’s one of the best hostel that I wouldn’t mind staying more than a night. Would definitely considering coming back.

It's a motel. But it's very clean and has a giant TV. Basic amenities are available. You barely interact with a human being. You pick up your key from a vending machine that can check your reservation and later return the key to a box. If you need anything, you can call the front desk (usually there is one person taking care of the entire thing). The location is fantastic. It's a short five-minute walk to the nearest subway station and a two-minute walk to the express bus stop going to the Incheon airport. There are four convenience stores within walking distance.

I had an exceptional stay at Hamilton Hotel in Itaewon, South Korea. The staff's hospitality was remarkable, and the rooms were not only comfortable but also tastefully decorated. Beautiful hotel equipped with all the necessary amenities. Especially loved the warm toilet seats perfect for cold nights. It also came with a great view of the city. Staff here were friendly and understood English well. It is located right next to sookmyung women university metro and very convenient to get around. Worth every bit of the stay.

Great location in Itaewon, very clean and spacious rooms, staff was great and gave me a late checkout. There’s an Eggslut restaurant in the lobby which makes breakfast very convenient. Will be back at the IP boutique hotel again.

I had a 24 hour layover in Seoul and chose this hotel based on the proximity to Seoul Station. From Incheon, the train journey is about one hour to Seoul Station. Fortunately, the hotel is less than a five minute walk from Exit 12. There is a slight hill, but it’s moderate and not overwhelming. The staff were super pleasant and offered to take my luggage up. I declined since I only had a carry-on, but note there is no elevator in this hotel. Don’t expect opulent space. The rooms are compact, but comfortable. As is typical in Seoul, the bathroom includes the sink, shower and toilet - there’s no separation of the shower. I slept comfortably and the streets are quiet during the night. I only paid $40 for the night so it’s certainly easy on the wallet. As far as location, it’s a walker’s dream. Seoul Station connects to high-speed rail as well as metro lines. Myeongdong is about a 30 minute walk from the hotel. There are plenty of eateries around including those at Seoul Station. If you’re a budget traveler or low maintenance, I highly recommend this place.
