To be honest, it was okay, except that the front desk asked me to pay some extra fees when I checked in. Otherwise, I would have to check out and change rooms at the normal time the next day... But the attitude of the front desk guy was okay. The hotel is not very hidden. You can see it by turning into a small alley on the main road. There are also many bus stops, convenience stores, and airport bus terminals nearby, all within a two-minute walk. Yes, the hotel is in Dongdaemun District, but it takes about 25 minutes by bus to get to the actual Dongdaemun.
The bed in the room is big, and the hygiene and space are okay, but I have to say that you get what you pay for. First of all, the air conditioner cannot be controlled remotely. It is probably a central air conditioner. There is only one plug at the bedside. Although there is a charging cable, it can be charged very well. Slow; there is no desk lamp, only a very weird red night light; the toilet is a bathtub, but there is no curtain, and the water pressure of the shower head is very high and cannot be fixed at all, so you have to hold it by hand or turn the water down; it is a bit inconvenient What I endured was the windows, two push-open windows but no! through! Light! There was no natural light coming into the room at all... It rained on the day we arrived, and it was humid in the room with the windows open. It was very dark in the room without the windows.
There is no need to swipe a card in the hotel elevator, anyone can get up, which seems to be a hidden danger, but it is convenient for door-to-door takeout~
In short, if you have a small travel budget, you can stay here. After all, you can sleep well. But if you have a little bit of pursuit of hotel quality, Iād better advise you to leave, haha.

This hotel is very cost-effective. It may be because of the holiday. Hotels around Hongdae and Myeongdong are very expensive. I am very happy to find this hotel. It only takes about 5 minutes to walk to Jungnang Station and go there and back. Hongdae and Myeongdong are not too far either. The hotel room is very large, there is also a lobby and bathroom, and the hygiene is very good. I will stay here again if I have the opportunity!

One of the best hotels Iāve experienced. Hotel is impeccable but the staff and support is even better. Concierge team waits by the elevator to help guests as soon as they step out of the lift. They usually walk with you through the lobby and book taxis and answer all your questions throughly. The breakfast is the also the best weāve ever seen. Amazing property with spectacular views and top notch service

Has everything you could need in a room. Its spacious and comfortable to stay. Employees were very friendly and the room was clean. The only thing is that the ventilation made quite some noise in the bathroom. Still very happy with the room and really worth the price to me.

There are restaurants nearby but we didnāt try any on this trip.

Hotel is located around 5 mins walk from main subway, Chungmuro. It is not walking distance to Myeongdong, it is 1 station away. The room is clean and we are glad there's 3 good size single bed (Seoul hotel bed sizes are quite small). Right beside the hotel there's a row of few BBQ shop - super good but long queue - patronized by mostly local. Worth the wait, good price compare to Myeongdong - around won15,00 per beef set. At Chungmuro - many more food and shops available. For the price, Hotel PJ is good option for us. Take note that the Airport Limo (Won17,00 per pax to airport) time schedule provided by the hotel is not most accurate as the list states last bus leave at 19:55 but truth is there a lot of available timing - best to refer to airport limo website and route. Breakfast is reasonably good.

Location: First of all, it was located in front of the bar of Chungmuro Station, so the accessibility was very good! As soon as I got off the station, it was easy to find because it was right there, and it was easy to move to the subway. At night, I went out with my friends and played in my favorite bar. š» Room interior, cleanliness: First of all, the room stayed in a room for three people, but it was wider than I thought, so three people went to sleep. It was enough, very neat and clean. There was also a table, so it was easy to eat, and it was okay to bring a laptop and see the work! The bathroom is clean and Netflix is available (you need to use your own ID). There is a washing machine, induction, and sink, so you can cook and wash! (I haven't used it, but,) it was just new and tidy because the bathroom was just built. Is it a little unusual that the sink is on the outside? It wasn't uncomfortable, but it wasn't as noisy as Hongdae or Sinchon. It was nice to be quiet at night, not like a noisy downtown area, but because of its good accessibility and location, it was convenient to use public transportation and places to eat or cafes around. It was nice to have a lot! I stayed with my friends, but I think it would be suitable if you are looking for a place to stay for long-distance business trips or business purposes.. !

The rooms were separated on a very large floor. There were no doors, just roller curtains. Privacy was maintained. The location was very good.
It is located about halfway between Sangsu Station and Hongik University Station. It is quite up the main street of Hongdae.
I headed to the hotel from Sangsu Station late at night, and although there was no one there during the day, there were surprisingly many people in the club district at night. Rather than being full of drunk people, it was more foreigners who came to Korea to hang out at the clubs, so I don't think the security is bad. I thought I might hear noise from the room, but it didn't bother me.
The front desk has many chairs and can be used as a cafe. You need to deposit 100,000 yen lol in credit or cash as a deposit. It will be returned to you when you check out.
I'm a woman, but I accidentally booked the men's floor, but they handled it immediately for an additional 8,000 lol.
The man at the front desk was very kind. He speaks English fluently.
When you give your money or passport, he says, āDon't rush!ā or āWait 5 minutes while I prepare!ā I've met many Korean people, but he was the kindest. I'll use him again!!

My 80 year old father and I had a good stay at the Fairfield Marriott on our last night in Seoul. Check in was easy, the elevators are high tech detecting your room floor when you hold the key to the hub, but the rooms are small. There's a sliding door separating the bathroom from the bedroom, but the bathroom is at the front of the room to include the door for entry. Essentially if you're on the toilet and your family/friend has left the room, you'd have to yell out to keep them from entering while on the throne. Not a big deal for overnight but for a longer stay that might be problematic. Also, said door is not quiet, so getting up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom requires you to make noise to slide the door closed. The room was otherwise nice. The bed was firm, the shower was good and had wash clothes. There's two hooks for hanging towels after you've used them which I think is golden. The breakfast buffet is just okay. There are plenty of food restaurants across the street from the hotel. We also had a Thai massage in that area. Oh, the slippers are really cheap, as seen in a pic... Lol.

GGuest UserHotel is in the heart of the arty part of insadong. Thgs are more expensive here as compared to Myeondong. Housecleaning needs to improve with an almond found under the bed from prev guests. Hair found on bathtub as well. Location, abt 10min walk to the main insadong cafe belt. Train station jongno-3ga exit 4 has got escalator. Orakai Suites is ur landmark and 10min walk u shd reach hotel entrance fr the shopping side. Or u can try jongak station, forgot the nearest exit though there's a few streetside hawker which sells really great food if u walk along to the jongak station. Mirror in the room is really good, fold it up to use it, fold down when not in use. Just that it's dusty inside the mirror drawer where u are supposed to keep make-up. Choose temple view if u wld like a quieter room. Our room was with city view which is fine too. Total of 14 floors. Gym is small with 2 treadmills, one or two spin cycles and hand weights. Generally a good stay.

GGuest UserThe location of the Solaria Ni****etsu Hotel is great, 3 mins away from the subway and right at the spot of Myeongdong night market. The flagship Olive Young is almost like next door. The room is not spacious but efficient. I would definitely come back if visit Seoul.

First, it was disappointed to find out the shower gel dispenser is broken by ourselves when I was naked standing in the shower room. I would assume the staff should know the condition of the room. I wish the front desk informed me when I checked in and ask if I could accept it or not since I pay no less than others.
Second, the refrigerator has the smallest capacity Iāve ever seen.
Pros:
Room is clean and spacious enough for 2 luggage. Staff are nice. They smile and greet. Location is incredible, super convenient! Kinda quiet in a noisy neighborhood. The subway station is right under the building. Itās easy to reach to most of attractions and can go through to the airport without any transfer.
Money exchanging machine is available in the lobby.

AAnonymous UserLocation is more suitable for business travellers who want to work & commute in financial district, otherwise thereās not much to do in this whole area as itās very hard to find a decent or simple eatery which opens near late night compared to living in Dongdaemun and Gangnam. Our room is located high and we can have a glance of the nearby buildings and overlooked further. They donāt provide full amenities compared to 2 other 5-stars hotels we had stayed in during this trip. So prep yourself with our necessary amenities like earbuds, combs, earplugs, sewing kits if needed in any case..
The hotel room is quite spacious and toilet is equipped with a bathtub which we didnāt get to utilise at all but my child had once because she wanted to play a bath bomb for 10 mins. Other items like ironing board, iron, Nespresso coffee machine, distilled water bottles, beverages and condiments, safe box, fridge were all provided.
And I find it quite troubling as there were too many ābig-countryā tourists either staying in the hotel or those living in Seoul going to the Hyundai Seoul mall to buy luxury goods. And the entire mall is crazily flooded and packed with youngsters on the day of our check-in and the next day. Some came to window-shop while most others came in for food and perhaps after meals, to seek shelter and shield from the cold. You wonāt be believed this you canāt even find a place to eat as all fast food eateries, snacks counters and restaurants were fully unavailable. There were basically long queues everywhere you go. Ended up my super famished poor child had to walk a long way with us & venture out in the cold to find any available restaurant to have our dinner.
International breakfast is served daily at L5 and the buffet spread is limited compared to the one we stayed & had in Dongdaemun. We had to pay additional 55,000KRW (SGD55) per day for our young child to dine in with us as her breakfast was not included in our accommodation package. I think itās really too expensive and given that we always came down only at 9.30am and the breakfast stopped at 10am sharp. The food she always had was a small bowl of cereal, 4 small bite-sized hash-browns and a glass of milk only where she had to eat fast within 30mins before they closed for the day. For such price paid, itās totally not worth it and we canāt avoid paying lesser despite they knew we only had 30 mins left to dine.
Overall the concierge service crewsā attitude and professionalism were excellent and Fairmont had the best staffs with great service i encountered during our 3 weeks stay across 3 different 5-stars hotels. I wished I will have another chance to stay here again but the price for each night is SGD450++, which is really expensive.

QQuakka PikkaThis hotel is conveniently located in Sina, thereās direct bus to gangnam main shopping district. There are plenty of food options around the hotel too. The only downside is their shampoo, conditioner and body wash are all made in the shape of a soap. Itās rly hard to use them. Thereāre no toiletries too, you need to bring ur own.

GGuest UserIt's a difficult location to find. It might be easier to find it if you look for the Hyundai Headquarters or the Orakai Hotel across the street.
There are several subway stations in the area, but they are all within a 15-minute walk. There is no bus stop nearby and there are various courses, so you need to do some research. There are three convenience stores within a four-minute walk.
The front desk was nice, but the room was small and I didn't know if I had upgraded to a superior type room.
It is a room that has been elaborated.

KKian FattLocation - approx 5-10mins walk to myeongdong shopping district/myeongdong subway station. 2-3 mins walking to City Hall subway station exit 7. There are two 7-11 convenience stores are just opposite the hotel. A lot restaurant nearby which is walking distance.
Breakfast- buffet style but not much variety nor impressive, we stayed for 3 days and menu is about the same for 3 days. Basically they provide foods like boiled egg, scrambled eggs, fried rice, dumpling, bread. It will be good if they can improve the breakfast varieties.
Amenities- no oral kits provided. They only have one washer and one dryer in this property. Be prepared for long queues if u were going to do laundry at night. This can be quite disappointing when you have to wait for so long to get your laundry done.
Staff - they are able to converse well in English, friendly and you can ask for daily room make up as well.
Overall - they do not allow traveller to extend check out timing, else you will be charge 11,000KRW per hour after 12pm. Nevertheless still recommended for those planning to stay in myeongdong area at affordable price.

4442sanaaeI loved the fact that the location is perfect for a quite night as well as itās so closed to Namsan tower for a beautiful walk in morning, Myeongdong for shopping and sightseeing in evening time and many places I can get to in less than 15 mins The guest house is perfectly clean , they have a healthy breakfast as well as a projector where I played my favorite movies at night before heading to sleep. The family are so nice and always there to help me with everything I needed ^_^ I recommend this place for long term and short term stays~~
