Hotels near Trade Tower Building in Seoul

The hotel is very nicely located next to the COEX mall so it is very convenient to get to the hotel from both Gimpo Airport (Metro line 9) and Incheon Airport (direct city bus 6301) with public transportation. The room was very cosy and comfortable. Unfortunately I found quite a few hair in all the bathroom (in the sink, the bath…) when I checked in. This is a big turn down for me. Besides that everything was clean. The little gym downstairs is quiet and nice to use (maybe it would be a good idea to provide a yoga mat in the gym). A big plus : there is a laundry machine downstairs that you can use. That was really helpful as I have been on the road for almost 2 weeks now.

Location is good as it is very near Samseong Station, Exit 7. Also within 6-8mins walking distance to COEX Mall. Amenities - I have one star only because when we requested for extra pillows, they informed us that there isn’t any extra pillows available. This is the first time I have heard that extra pillows were not available. Pillows were also very soft and I had to fold in half in order to have some support. Cleanliness - 3 stars as the floor near the side table was rather dusty. As the floor is not carpeted, we could see the dust near the side tables.

L7 Gangnam is a modern ”minimalist” business hotel part of the Lotte group. It's in the heart of Gangnam around 10min walk to COEX and opposite to the Seolleong ro-90 where the bars and restaurants are. Check-in was speedy - if you have bought breakfast then need to remember to collect the breakfast coupons. There is a mini vending station next to laundry and also a FX machines (passport required) which is useful. The breakfast selection is limited so you may want to explore other cafes around the corner (e.g. Levain Rules, Ronnefeldt, etc). The room is basic and functional. The view overlooking the Seolleong tomb/park is nice, especially if you've requested a high floor. Overall it's a good value for money and given the budget would definitely consider again. Pro Tip: though there is 7-11 in the basement and GS25 around the corner, the un-named 24hr convenience store at the back of the hotel has more fruits (e.g. grapes and oranges) than typical 7-11/CU/GS25.

1. Location was not as near to the subway as expected (it’s slightly ＞10min walk so it’s highly not recommended in winter), better to use the bus (5min). 2. Cleanliness was alright at first. But subsequently, I think the cleaning lady got lazy and the daily servicing worsened day by day. (So I’m glad I only booked 3 nights here). Also, bits of small plastic food packaging/flyers (apologies but only have a blurry pic below) left by the previous guests under the bed were not thoroughly cleaned so the carpet area is kind of dirtier than you would expect. 3. Airport bus was also further than I expected. The bus stop name mentioned its hotel name so I thought it would literally be right outside but nope, it was across the road and we had to drag our heavy luggage across the long zebra crossing (with patches of uneven road)… 4. Perhaps one commendable thing would be their staff at L1 reception, really helpful and there’s also a luggage weighing machine (in case you overbuy and need to check like me)

After the epidemic, I feel that the prices of hotels in Seoul have increased a lot ~ I found this apartment temporarily, the weekend price is 1k ➕ ~ Incheon Airport Bus 6703 can go directly ~ Service: Basically there is no front desk. Check-in and check-out are self-service machines. Check-in at 4 pm and the room card cannot be obtained even a minute earlier. It also depends on your luck to store your luggage. Is there any staff who can help? It is not guaranteed to be left at the front desk. . . Facilities: I don’t know what the use of the attic in the room is. It may be useful for long-term residents. . . The bathroom is very crowded, and anyone who is fat may find it difficult to get in and out of the bathroom. . . Environment: There is a convenience store downstairs, which is quite convenient. It is a hotel apartment mixed with local long-term renters. Our room is next to the local long-term renters. . . Cleanliness: After staying for three days, there was no door cleaning service. . . Hang towels and mineral water on the door handle every day. . . Anyway, we two girls don’t need it, that’s basically it. . . Overall, I regretted it on the day I checked in. . . Three days later, the place was immediately changed. . .

The room is very nice and the location is very convenient. It is next to the shopping mall, but it is closed on Mondays. The hotel is very new and the lobby service is quite friendly. I checked out at 11. In fact, the location in Jiangnan may not be good for tourists. It’s so convenient. It’s still a long way to go to Hongdae or Myeongdong by taxi. I stayed at the AC Marriott in South Korea for the first three nights. The room was not big. In comparison, the InterContinental seems to be quite cost-effective. The laundry and care are provided by Byredo, and there are also some in the surrounding area. There are a lot of delicious food. I like the color of the bathroom very much. It is big and bright. If you put on makeup, it will not be too thick. Hahahaha. Next time I come again, I will stay two nights in Gangnam and three nights near Hongdae~

The location is less than 5 minutes walk from Uijeongneung Station. It's a straight road. It was quite small, so I had a bit of trouble finding a place to send my carrier, and there was a lot of hair falling down, so I think it was a little lacking in cleanliness, but other than that I didn't mind. There is a McDonald's next door which is convenient.

Next to the hotel is Bongeunsa Subway Station, there are shopping malls nearby, and Bongeunsa Temple is worth a walk. The room is not big and quite clean. The front desk service can also help call a car every time, and the room can also be obtained in advance. It’s just that during our stay, the price on the website for that day was suddenly much cheaper than the price we booked in advance.

I love the location! The Hyundai department store is just in front of the hotel. The staff can speak english well and very easy to talk to. Considering the price, this place is nice! The room is small but comfortable. I would recommend this hotel for a solo trip.

Pros: Within 5mins walking distance from subway station. Area is not too overly crowded and rowdy. Room space is decent, basin area is spacious. For the price point, it is still reasonable. Cons: Although within Gangnam area, this is not exactly near the shopping district. Cleanliness is moderate, not as clean as expected. TV switched on by itself in the middle of the night, unsure if it is some sort of auto-timer.
