Stayed at the Lotte Executive Tower just after the holidays, in a Premier Double Room. Pros: - The entrance of the Executive Tower is absolutely beautiful. Same with the Main Tower. Elegant, refined, beautiful art work. The executive tower check-in desks are on the 15th floor. - Easy access by escalator directly into the Lotte Department Store (from where the escalator takes you to, hang a right to get to the famous food hall!) - Location can’t be beat. Directly across from Eujiro Station (1) and around the corner from Myeong-Dong Walking Street / Night Market and several 7-11s (which are almost as good as the 7-11s in Japan). - Our room was beautiful, spacious, thoughtfully designed and decorated. Very modern touches and upscale finishes. A chandelier in the bathroom?? - Immaculate housekeeping. - Excellent temperature and very strong water pressure in the shower! - Appreciate the 2 complimentary bottles of Evian every day. - Fast wifi speeds. Cons: - Love the Diptyque toiletries but wish they weren’t the communal / shared bottles. There were bits of dried lotion crusted on the pump from the previous occupant. - Weird that neither lobby had a single chair to sit on. What’s up with that? Comes off a bit inhospitable. This isn’t the type of place to attract non-guests / loiterers. A bench wouldn’t kill anyone! - For a 5* hotel and the price we’re paying, it’s disappointing that there is a surcharge should you need a toothbrush, toothpaste or use of the sauna (!!). They claim the charge for toothbrush and paste is to prevent wastage but surely you could just have these small items available upon request at the front desk? - The doormen’s manners range from formal and friendly (some) to indifferent (most) to downright hostile (many), especially if you are not a Korean speaker, as many don’t speak English. I’m not arrogant enough to think they should speak English in a non-English speaking country, but a smile is universal, you know? Would likely stay here again at the right price and given the location.

The hotel was clean and organized. The front desk was helpful and their were ladies that helped us to deliver our suitcases. I am not sure what their titles were but I just found that it was rather odd since most hotels in North America hired young men to do this. Kudos to the hotel for not type casting roles. The location was very good. The downstairs food court and restaurant was very tasty and clean. I would definitely go back to this hotel if I am ever in Korea again.

Amazing location in the center of myungdong. You can walk to many tourist places. The breakfast places were too small and there were too many people waiting in line, definitely not enough capacity to hold the guests conveniently. Hope they can find a solution, for this. I also have to say that staffs at the swimming pool was very rude.

My first time at Le Méridien Seoul , new hotel , 6 months old , super clean , great rooms facilities , good buffet breakfast , maybe a bit under staffed during rush hours but staff were very nice . Superb lounge at the 15 floor with very friendly and helpful staff special thanks to Mrs Sharon Kim and Mrs Rachael Kim for there valued help for restaurants and tips for side seen and shopping , Will go back for sure next time I will in Seoul !

Excellent location in the heart of Seoul with easy access to temples, public transportation, and food. We had a suite that was smaller than most normal rooms at other Marriott properties (especially autograph tier) akin to staying in a New York or Hong Kong hotel. The size of the room was disappointing but ultimately it is a great location. The Boulangerie on the way to the metro is great 👌🏻

I have had the pleasure of staying at many different four seasons locations, however Four Seasons Seoul was and is by far my favorite. I flew in from the US and requested a car to pick me up at the airport in Seoul and staff was waiting for me outside when I arrived. They pre checked me in since I was traveling internationally and had arranged for me to go directly to the room. The staff was thoughtful and continued to add personal touches the entire stay. The majority of the staff is multi lingual and helped to helped to arrange transportation and exterior details of my activities and appointments. They genuinely went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and extraordinary. Cannot wait to come back!

The walk from seoul station is not that near. Quite a long walk with direct underpass but flat surface. Take note the underpass only 6am-11pm only. Room was huge for 1 pax, you can even open 2 big luggages on the floor. Had the first guest floor which is on 20th floor, which is quite high already. Room was clean and pillow was soft. Iron only 1 in laundry room.

Service was inconsistent - sometimes the staff were really nice and friendly and other times they were plain rude and disrespectful to you. When I first entered my room the smell took me aback. It smelled like a mix of sweat and wet socks. The sheets were crumpled and weren’t super clean either. The bathtub had yellow stains which threw me off as I was looking forward to a midnight soak. Basic amenities were given, which was great. The housekeeping ladies were really sweet as well. It’s a 5 minute walking distance to the train station so location was not so bad. Sadly I don’t think I’d book again as it was not that worth for the price.

It's a good hotel on a budget. Has a very homely breakfast and water dispenser to fill up your bottles with ice and water. Also has robes to use as pyjamas. Very no frills. Don't expect service from the staff. We expected to be able to check in earlier when we reached if the room was available. We reached only about 15mins to our check in time but were told to wait at the lobby till 1600. I am not sure what the fixation is about for the check in time. If the room is available, then let the guest have it. First time we have experienced this in any country.

Location is good near myeongdong night street, subway station and Lotte shopping mall, young plaza. The only issue here is since is winter the aircon is set to heater mode the whole room is so hot cannot set even when controller is stated off, the heater is still working hence we all got puzzled. Next issues is the lift, if have more than a room and even stated in the request. End up giving and stay different tower of different floor from 11 onwards need to take another lift. Which is very troublesome. Not convenient at all. Lastly, if you travel with family that have more than 2 beds the room is very small only can have 1 pax walking at a time and luggages have to be closed if there a more than 2 checkin luggages.

The elder who watched the guest out was very cute. Can speak English, pay attention to directions, nice room, clean enough. There is a bathroom in the room. Complete equipment Importantly, the location is very good. Went shopping around Myeongdong, taking things up to store in the room. Then continue walking Importantly, it's very close to the airport bus stop and subway. Just walk 2-5 minutes. Importantly, it is close to many delicious restaurants. There's still olives nearby.

Right where all the action of Myeong-dong street market is! Staff were helpful. Able to store luggage at the lobby before check-in and after check out. Halal food available at the street market too (The halal lamb skewer was the best I've had)! The strawberries, grapes that tasted like sweet jellly, (its a no wonder SG markets sells them soo expensive!) On weekdays, street market starts at 5pm, on weekend, it starts by afternoon. Apart from street markets, Lotte store is within walking distance for those who wishes to spend on the higher end products. Not to forget, Olive Young is all the rage there, especially during their sale for that Korean glass skincare! Managed to snag some Kpop items for kids back home. The light sticks were way cheaper than in Singapore, and there were so many merch and photocards available. Even the lomo cards are nice! The airport transfer bus is within walking distance from the hotel. The bus will stop at a few hotels within the area to pick up passengers heading along the way or towards airport. We took the airport transfer bus on a weekend to Incheon Airport Terminal 1. It cost 17000 won/per pax. Journey took nearly 2hrs, considering the weekend traffic at noon. Can't wait to visit again!

This is truly one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The room is well laid out with a huge shower area, great seperate toilet with an amazing automated system including heated seat and self flushing. The toiletries are quality. On arrival I was advised that the owner is a formal movie star and was shown the gallery depicting his achievements, as there is a movie theme I was provided with a complimentary bag of fresh popcorn. There is a minibar in the room with a modest selection of drinks and some nuts which is amazing free and was restocked every day. The staff here are amazing, they are some of the most responsive and helpful hotel staff that I have experienced, one small example was when there was a small issue with the air conditioning that the duty staff could not resolve, they had an engineer come in and resolve it within 30 minutes. The location of the hotel is great, set in a busy area you just need to step out the door to find an immense selection of eating and shopping opportunities, many of the surrounding streets are walking streets which fill with street food vendors at night. The airport bus drops off and picks up a mere 2 minute walk from the hotel, there are 2 subway stations within a 6 minute walk from the hotel. I couldn’t recommend this hotel too highly - thanks for a great stay

The gym is really large and is equipped with lots of machines; there is even a separate room for yoga and stretching. I had a day time layover (5am-10pm) so I reserved the room the day before my layover even though I’ll be checking in on my check out day. I kept trying for a late check out and was willing to pay for it just for some extra comfort for my family and I to rest after our red eye flight but was denied because they needed to clean the room although it wasn’t even occupied as I checked that it was still available online for booking. I did get until 12pm instead of 11am but I also checked in at 8am so only having 4 hours of the room. Besides this, the room was clean and the location is great.

The hotel is located at the heart of Myeongdong yet away from the noise. It was easy to get to the hotel from the airport shuttle 6701 and alight at the Lotte Hotel, after which we crossed a road , you will see Starbucks and a sculpture . The hotel is just situated behind. It is close to Euljiro subway, the green line and slightly further (8 min) to Myeongdong station (blue). Hotel staff were ever polite and pleasant and never fails to greet us. Room was cleaned very well daily and housekeeping prompt in response. A nice touch by the hotel as they provide a humidifier for a cold and dry weather. Would definitely recommend this place to others!!
