Hotel is right smacked in the middle of Dongdaemun shopping street! The room and its furniture is dated. The air purifier and humidifier and baby rail were well appreciated. Swimming pool, beyond excellent. But don’t think it’s worth the price. For $300 a night, I’d say it’s quite pricey but its location is a win for me!

Excellent. The check-in and check out was quick and easy. Breakfast was abit expensive but quite good. The room was abit spacious, and clean. Location was about 6min slow walk away from DDP station. exit 12 lift. Location was walkable to Gwangjang market for food. Kudos to the cleanliness, location and amenities.

Wonderful service, great staff, cozy rooms, warm atmosphere with the festivities from the holiday season. Thanks always for such welcoming staff that immediately brings smile and joy as soon as you walk into the hotel and at the check in desk. The hotel is under construction so there will be noise from 8:30 am until 4 - 4:30pm. Best breakfast buffet in Seoul. Great happy hour. Amazing view from the lounge. Spacious and clean rooms.

Beautiful hotel, great staffs, great facilities, near to public transport like bus/subway. It is very convenient to stay at shilla hotel. Although the room is not so big compared to other 5 stars hotel that i have stayed before. Staff is very professional, offering assistance and very alert to any of the guests request. Lobby is beautiful, they have sitting area, heater at the shuttle bus is very must helpful during winter. They provide free shuttle bus to tourist area. You can check at their concierge . There is a restaurant outside the hotel but you will have to walk around 1km if you dont want to eat in-house They have gym facilities but I didn’t get the chance to use it because of time limited but i did went for a walk at their garden. Overall I would recommend others to stay here.

It's a quiet location, so it's good, but it's also sad. However, since the lodging is so good, I don't feel that much of a disappointment. It was nice to see Namsan and the whole view of Seoul, and the space was so large that it was convenient to stay with my family. Breakfast is also great.

My first time at Le Méridien Seoul , new hotel , 6 months old , super clean , great rooms facilities , good buffet breakfast , maybe a bit under staffed during rush hours but staff were very nice . Superb lounge at the 15 floor with very friendly and helpful staff special thanks to Mrs Sharon Kim and Mrs Rachael Kim for there valued help for restaurants and tips for side seen and shopping , Will go back for sure next time I will in Seoul !

It's a good hotel on a budget. Has a very homely breakfast and water dispenser to fill up your bottles with ice and water. Also has robes to use as pyjamas. Very no frills. Don't expect service from the staff. We expected to be able to check in earlier when we reached if the room was available. We reached only about 15mins to our check in time but were told to wait at the lobby till 1600. I am not sure what the fixation is about for the check in time. If the room is available, then let the guest have it. First time we have experienced this in any country.

The hotel location is perfect and it is right infront of the lift exit 4 from DDP train station. It has airport bus stop right in front of the hotel to Incheon Airport. It may take 2 hours traveling time to airport because the bus will drop by many places around Seoul before heading to airport. The room is spacious and clean.

Very handy location, close to both Dongdaemun station & DDP Plaza. Have great restaurants nearby, it has hyundai city outlet & duty free nearby as well. The breakfast was great too, offering various food but+ fruits! The water pressure was amazing really. Highly recommended!

Service was inconsistent - sometimes the staff were really nice and friendly and other times they were plain rude and disrespectful to you. When I first entered my room the smell took me aback. It smelled like a mix of sweat and wet socks. The sheets were crumpled and weren’t super clean either. The bathtub had yellow stains which threw me off as I was looking forward to a midnight soak. Basic amenities were given, which was great. The housekeeping ladies were really sweet as well. It’s a 5 minute walking distance to the train station so location was not so bad. Sadly I don’t think I’d book again as it was not that worth for the price.

This is the only place I have been to Seoul to live in so close to Dongdaemun. I am generally in a safe place. Because the inn is old and there is no elevator, it is not convenient to move a large box. It is not recommended to take the child! Going to Dongdaemun to purchase goods can be preferred

The location is inconvenient and the manager is very mean. There is no elevator to climb to the fifth floor and you have to build your own house. The room is clean, the bedding is clean, there are few people, it is quiet, and there is a kitchen. It is comfortable and warm. It feels so good when I sleep. It’s funny how I feel embarrassed when I check in early.

Pretty decent private hostel, in terms of room size and comfort. The location is great - in a pretty central area, close to a metro station, CU convenience store, and cafe. The wet bathroom was very small but still functional - it did have some mold spots though. Hostel provides towels but no body-sized ones, only hand towel size. There are some free-to-use communal items like electric plug converters, a kitchen area with bread and eggs, drinking water, etc. The check-in process is all on a screen near the entrance which was my first time experiencing something like that!

Superb location and the limousine bus drop you off at Toyoko1, just need to walk 2 mins to Toyoko2. Prefer Toyoko 2 as the 3x subway lines interchange so you get better assessibility. Premises is very clean and tidy. Breakfast is Generous although due to dietary preference, I did not eat. Its truly value for money. No toothbrush provided but no issue, you can purchase at vending machine. They provided unlimited shower, shampoo, conditioner and other amenities. However the downside is room cleaning takes 6hrs.

Right where all the action of Myeong-dong street market is! Staff were helpful. Able to store luggage at the lobby before check-in and after check out. Toilets are equipped with smart bidet (yay! with seat warmer!!!! so nice in cold weather). Room is clean, though looked a lil rundown, but still acceptable, given that we were mostly out. Halal food available at the street market too (The halal lamb skewer was the best I've had)! The strawberries, grapes that tasted like sweet jellly, (its a no wonder SG markets sells them soo expensive!) On weekdays, street market starts at 5pm, on weekend, it starts by afternoon. Apart from street markets, Lotte store is within walking distance for those who wishes to spend on the higher end products. Not to forget, Olive Young is all the rage there, especially during their sale for that Korean glass skincare! Managed to snag some Kpop items for kids back home. The light sticks were way cheaper than in Singapore, and there were so many merch and photocards available. Even the lomo cards are nice! The airport transfer bus is within walking distance from the hotel. The bus will stop at a few hotels within the area to pick up passengers heading along the way or towards airport. We took the airport transfer bus on a weekend to Incheon Airport Terminal 1. It cost 17000 won/per pax. Journey took nearly 2hrs, considering the weekend traffic at noon. Can't wait to visit again!

Although the room is not big, the price is better than many homestays. There are a lot of food downstairs, and there is a supermarket opposite. There is a subway station at the door, and it is only a few steps away from Exit 8 of Xintang Station. The landlord's aunt is really nice, even though she doesn't understand the language, she will explain it to us slowly with a translator. The only downside is that the downstairs is very lively, so it will be a little noisy

The room is simple in style, it looks very warm, and the apartment looks very new, the decoration is very new, the equipment prepared for us is very new, and the equipment that can be prepared for us is very complete, except for the wireless network. In addition to the air conditioner, there are washing machines and refrigerators in the room, and even washing powder and drying racks are prepared for us.
