I spent 4 nights at ibis hotel, one of the lady at the front desk who can speak good English, and she was really nice, I was so grateful.
My room was at 30/F, the view was awesome! It was clean, but the two cushions on my bed were super smellyโฆ I wish the housekeeper could have noticed and changed the cover. The location of the hotel was great, it took me around 5mins walk from Yongsan Station exit 3 across the bridge to the hotel. Yongsan station is close to Sinyongsan station, so there is another choice if you travel to other line. I wanted to put this information here because when I was using the google map, it couldnโt give me an accurate walking direction. So hope this could help those who wanted to stay in this hotel.
Overall experience I would say not bad, but compared to the other hotels located at Hongdae that I have stayed in the past, I think those are more convenient.

This boutique hotel was surprisingly comfortable to stay at. Although the neighbourhood was slightly rowdy with drinking crowd at night and alot of eateries & bars around, the room is quiet and cosy. We stayed in a 30m2 room with a huge toilet and spacious room. The front desk manager Mr Yu is the kindest most hospitable person Ive meet at a hotel. He took time to chat with us and made us a hot drink when the weather was getting cold. The lobby is nice with an adequate seating area for traveller who need to do their work/ meet with friends. Accessibility is good with the Metro being 7mins walk and airport bus stop 5mins walk away. I recommend the 24he Kimchi Jigae with Pork eatery around the corner.. its the best!

Location: First of all, it was located in front of the bar of Chungmuro Station, so the accessibility was very good! As soon as I got off the station, it was easy to find because it was right there, and it was easy to move to the subway. In addition, there are many food nearby, so I ordered it to be delivered in the evening. At night, I went out with my friends and played in my favorite bar. ๐ป Room interior, cleanliness: First of all, the room stayed in a room for three people, but it was wider than I thought, so three people went to sleep. It was enough, very neat and clean. There was also a table, so it was easy to eat, and it was okay to bring a laptop and see the work! The bathroom is clean and Netflix is available (you need to use your own ID). There is a washing machine, induction, and sink, so you can cook and wash! (I haven't used it, but,) it was just new and tidy because the bathroom was just built. Is it a little unusual that the sink is on the outside? It wasn't uncomfortable, but it wasn't as noisy as Hongdae or Sinchon. It was nice to be quiet at night, not like a noisy downtown area, but because of its good accessibility and location, it was convenient to use public transportation and places to eat or cafes around. It was nice to have a lot! I stayed with my friends, but I think it would be suitable if you are looking for a place to stay for long-distance business trips or business purposes.. !

I loved the location, i can walk to Myeongdong or Insadong, as well as Gyeongbokgung. Cheonggyecheon is nearby too. Basically most of the famous spots in Seoul are pretty accessible from here. Super near Jongno 3-ga station which is on line 1 and line 5. The only thing is you have to walk through some alleys to find the hotel. Solo female travellers might want to avoid going back late (but their check in time is 9pm). And everything is in Korean, fyi. I speak Korean so i had no problems. The room was pretty spacious and the cleanliness was okay for me. Really good price considering it's a private room with a private bathroom. It's really a couple's room, bathroom only has a glass door and nowhere to hang your towels or clothes. And lastly, i think it's actually a love hotel, their tv has a special channel, lol.

Location and service good. Room is clean but very small. Induction stove is for display only, as there is no kitchenette provided. Aircon got strange noise. Technician came down to check but he said he can't do anything. Requested to change room, found that aircon got the same problem. It is this LG brand that has the design issue. Weekend is quiet. Small restaurants and eateries are closed. There are two convenience stores at level one, bentto sold there is the best Korean food to me, more tastier and cheaper than neaby restaurant food.

Location is great, easy to reach by airport bus no.6001 and a few metro stations are around. Many money exchange shops and convenient stores nearby.
Just 10mins can reach Myeongdong by bus.
The room is clean and the facilities are quite new. You can control your own room air-con temperature.
Although my room at 11th floor and facing the main road, it wasn't noisy.
Remember to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste.

The location near to DDP and subway stations. A bit lost for finding the community desk for check in but after that everything was fine! Mostly are for youngsters and not for travellers who are looking for traditional cozy hotels. Their room was clean and tidy. Amenities were sufficient and the floor was quiet. Enjoyed a good night view with the Namsan Tower too!
Depends on your need to watch TV or not because they won't have it at the room.

This hotel was perfect for me as a solo traveler. It might not be well suited for larger groups or families but it was just right for me, and I truly miss staying here. The staff could speak English and greeted me every time I came in, and at 4 am when I checked out, there was even a self-checkout station for me to insert the key. The rules were straight-forward, and they provided a lot of amenities such as skincare and free water, coffee, and tea. Not to mention, the TV was huge and the view was pretty nice. The shampoo and body wash smelled really good, haha. I miss it there already..

WWilson YThe hotel is fairly new in a great location centering in the Insadong-Gil culture street area. Metro station is within walking distance and you can even walk to the places of interest and not take metro if you like. Cafe onion at Anguk, buchon hanok village, Gyeongbokgung Place are some places within easy reach. Shops, cafes and restaurants lined both sides of Insadong-gil. You can also venture into the alleyways to discover more unique finds.

GGuest UserThe location of the Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel is great, 3 mins away from the subway and right at the spot of Myeongdong night market. The flagship Olive Young is almost like next door. The room is not spacious but efficient. I would definitely come back if visit Seoul.

AAnonymous UserLocation is more suitable for business travellers who want to work & commute in financial district, otherwise thereโs not much to do in this whole area as itโs very hard to find a decent or simple eatery which opens near late night compared to living in Dongdaemun and Gangnam. Our room is located high and we can have a glance of the nearby buildings and overlooked further. They donโt provide full amenities compared to 2 other 5-stars hotels we had stayed in during this trip. So prep yourself with our necessary amenities like earbuds, combs, earplugs, sewing kits if needed in any case..
The hotel room is quite spacious and toilet is equipped with a bathtub which we didnโt get to utilise at all but my child had once because she wanted to play a bath bomb for 10 mins. Other items like ironing board, iron, Nespresso coffee machine, distilled water bottles, beverages and condiments, safe box, fridge were all provided.
And I find it quite troubling as there were too many โbig-countryโ tourists either staying in the hotel or those living in Seoul going to the Hyundai Seoul mall to buy luxury goods. And the entire mall is crazily flooded and packed with youngsters on the day of our check-in and the next day. Some came to window-shop while most others came in for food and perhaps after meals, to seek shelter and shield from the cold. You wonโt be believed this you canโt even find a place to eat as all fast food eateries, snacks counters and restaurants were fully unavailable. There were basically long queues everywhere you go. Ended up my super famished poor child had to walk a long way with us & venture out in the cold to find any available restaurant to have our dinner.
International breakfast is served daily at L5 and the buffet spread is limited compared to the one we stayed & had in Dongdaemun. We had to pay additional 55,000KRW (SGD55) per day for our young child to dine in with us as her breakfast was not included in our accommodation package. I think itโs really too expensive and given that we always came down only at 9.30am and the breakfast stopped at 10am sharp. The food she always had was a small bowl of cereal, 4 small bite-sized hash-browns and a glass of milk only where she had to eat fast within 30mins before they closed for the day. For such price paid, itโs totally not worth it and we canโt avoid paying lesser despite they knew we only had 30 mins left to dine.
Overall the concierge service crewsโ attitude and professionalism were excellent and Fairmont had the best staffs with great service i encountered during our 3 weeks stay across 3 different 5-stars hotels. I wished I will have another chance to stay here again but the price for each night is SGD450++, which is really expensive.

GGuest UserWe enjoyed our room the most and felt that we had a good night's rest here. This is a semi budget friendly hotel that is close to the palace/park areas of Seoul. The room was clean and well appointed with two comfy beds, two good pillows per bed, a chair, cabinets and drawers to store stuff, a big tv, robes and sandals. The bathroom was nice too with good shower pressure and one of those shower valves where you can pick the temperature you want. The toilet flushed quietly and there was plenty of shower space. There are frosted windows in the bathroom which help let in natural day light but if your partner uses it at night you will see the lights come on.
The location was decent but the metro was further than expected. When we booked trip.com showed us that it was 330m from Dongmyo Station but it was actually closest to jongno 5 entrance 2 which was a 10 minute walk away from the hotel. The palace and Hanbok areas are very close to the hotel and there are frequent busses in the area to take you to the major attractions and areas. Nearby the hotel there are many convenience stores but there are limited restaurant options outside of coffee shops.
The breakfast at the hotel was ok. We found there was a good variety but if you went too early (7:30 am) nothing was out yet and if you went later (8:30) everything was limited. The hot items were not as hot as we liked them to be despite the heaters so it might be worth getting early and getting your food when it comes out so it is nice and hot. There were scrambled eggs, fried eggs, marbled cheese the one day, stuff to make salad, an onion soup, mushroom soup, fried rice, a hot vegetable (one day it was potato and the next it was mushrooms), hot dogs, cut up fruit, bread/toaster, cut up muffins, orange juice, coffee and tea. There was enough to get by and there are pricey a la carte options. The restaurant was a little drafty when we went but it was just enough to get us started each day.
The staff at the hotel were friendly and allowed us to store our baggage when we arrived early so we could go out and explore the city. When we actually checked in it was smooth and quick. The elevators are a little tricky at the hotel and you have to pay attention to which elevator is closest to you and press that button. There are two elevators but there are two separate buttons to call them so it is worthwhile looking where the elevators are and choosing accordingly. The hotel also has a coin laundry facility and a meeting area. The lobby is also nicely appointed with furniture and a small drinks shop but being there in December we wouldn't want to hang out there long.

Fantastic location - centrally located, can get anywhere in 10-30 mins. Bus stop right in-front of the hotel and Sinsa station 5 mins away. Thereโs a 7-11 next to the hotel. Thereโs food places around the Garousu-Gil shopping area - lots of the locals hang out there. Thereโs a cafe (lobby) and rooftop bar in the hotel. 10 mins walk to the Airport bus stop - super convenient to take the bus to/from the airport.
Rooms are clean and minimalist. Just take note that amenities are limited as this is an eco friendly hotel. If you are travelling with someone bring or buy additional soap/shampoo as its bar soap/shampoo/conditioner (1 bar each). If you donโt want your room cleaned daily - hotel does leave a bag of clean towels and water top up at your door. Floor space itโs good to open 3 large suitcases flat. There are slots under the bed to keep 2 suitcases just like their photos show.
Only thing lacking is hanging space - towel and clothes.
Loved the free Dear Klairs skincare samples. Store was located down the street from the hotel, picked up a few things because of the samples.
You can keep your luggage in the lobby so you donโt need to pay extra for a locker.

Very small room gives you some Japanese vibes. That's also supported by the toilet. There was some USB socket broken, though it didn't deliver any problem.
If you're an individual that needs a one night stay in Seoul - the Manu Hotel is quite a good choice. Plenty of the shops and cafes in vicinity. Close to Namdaemun Market and the street. The Seoulista restaraunt or bar (I'd better call it a bar) - is ok for late dinner if you don't want to look for anything else.
Some reviewers wrote about homeless people on the way from Seoul station (right in front actually) to the hotel. Though I didn't find the โcleanโ pass to the walkway (from the station) and had to encounter them, I don't see any problem - there's a police station right there. Had a small problem finding a way on top of the walkway as the lift is a bit hidden (but you have to be complete ***** not finding it).

MmiSs JM๐จHotel Skypark Kingstown Dongdaemuโs location is perfect! Itโs literally next to Hyundai Outlet mall and other big shopping malls in Dongdaemun.
๐Subway and bus stop is walking distance.
๐ฑ Tons of restaurants around to choose from.
๐๏ธ Most shops are open until 5am around Dongdaemun so even if you arrive in Seoul late, you can still walk around and check some stores.
๐note: the hotelโs check in lobby is on the 14th floor, and itโs self service (very convenient). They also provide free bus ride to some places (look at the picture for reference).

TTSTRAVELSI really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is so close to many restaurants, coffee shops and two metro lines. It was also conveniently located to Gwangjang Market via a 10 minute walk, Bukchon Hanok Village 20 minutes via metro and Gyeonggbokgung Palace. You can easily hike Namsan Mt. Park all the way to Seoul Tower in about 90 minutes, starting from the hotel all the way to the top. The staff were very friendly and accommodating organizing taxi services and helping with directions to get around the city. The room needs a bit of updating but it was clean, functional, the bed was comfortable to sleep in and it had a nice view of North Seoul Tower. I would highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again!

4442sanaaeI loved the fact that the location is perfect for a quite night as well as itโs so closed to Namsan tower for a beautiful walk in morning, Myeongdong for shopping and sightseeing in evening time and many places I can get to in less than 15 mins The guest house is perfectly clean , they have a healthy breakfast as well as a projector where I played my favorite movies at night before heading to sleep. The family are so nice and always there to help me with everything I needed ^_^ I recommend this place for long term and short term stays~~
