Gangnam
It is a good location. The room is good size for me and my wife and have every facilities. We feel comfortable. The hotel's location is good. It is close to subway line 9 which is on the left side, taking us to the domestic and international airports. The subway line 2 on the right sides taking us to most of the attractions. There is a resturants steet which you can eat anythings. There are 7-11 and CU opposite the road and you can buy water and soft drinks. The bad thing is that it on a slope and need a bit of walk uphill from stations. Nevertheless, we will stay in this hotel in future even though the room cost is on the high side.

Overall the stay was very good with few minor details that could use improvement. 1. The hotel common areas had a very strong perfume smell - but this seemed typical in Korea? Not my thing. 2. The light turns on automatically in front of the room door, so if you got up to use the bathroom at night, it would turn on. I didn’t like that. I like to get up as dark as possible at night. 3. When we bought wine to in the bar to bring to our room, it could only come in plastic cups. We are not teenagers, we are adults who can take care of a glass of wine without breaking it - felt it was patronising and no do not want to drink wine from a plastic cup. And we didn’t want to drink it in the bar because of the perfume smell. 4. We came to the breakfast at 6:30 since we were in a hurry to go to the airport - and the staff was so slow, it took 6 minutes to be seated even though the restaurant was almost empty. They couldn’t find our room number on a paper list that looked very unorganised. 5. Would prefer bigger towels at the pool
Novotel Ambassador Seoul Yongsan - Seoul Dragon City

The hotel itself was good. There was a loud buzzing noise outside of my room on the first night which constantly kept waking me up. The next night they were able to change my room. I chose this hotel mainly as it had a sauna. Little did I know, you had to pay for the sauna. This was very disappointing and very surprising. I think an additional charge should be stated clearly on this site
Novotel Ambassador Seoul Dongdaemun Hotels & Residences

Dongdaemun Market
Good location, and there are many restaurants nearby. There is a shuttle bus stop of Incheon airport in front of the hotel. It's very handy that there is a washing machine/dryer in the room. However, it is a pain in the **** that you have to book to use the pool, and you can only book once a day per room. A couple won't always go swimming at the same time. There are only two lifts in the hotel room tower. You have to be patient. The perfume in the lobby was a bit pungent.
