Hotels in Dongdaemun Market, Seoul

My husband and I booked this hotel on a day we checked in cause of the previous hotel we booked was horrible. Skypark hotel reviewed and confirmed my booking very quickly. The first thing I’ve noticed that it’s super clean. The room isn’t big, but enough for two adults with 2 suitcases. We had a lovely room keeper who cleaned the room every day. You can find everything you need in the room, except for a toothbrush. However, you can go to the check-in desk and buy one there. They sell other items too. Also, one of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its location. Close to two subway stations and a couple of bus stations. Around you can find multiple convenient stores, coffee places, restaurants and so on. We truly loved our stay. Thanks!

Acube Hotel was perfect for our short stay. Located close to subway line 2 Eulji-ro 4 (see picture for reference of neighborhood), connected to all places of interest and Airport Railway. Room was clean, with all amenities. Check in was fast and easy, check out even easier. It was one of the few places that would accommodate our family of 5 for a fair price. I’d consider it again if ever going again to Seoul.

Got a room from the residence tower. The room was nice and spacious, and the bathroom was huge. Came with a kitchenette and washing machine in the room. Walking distance to dongdaemun night market, plenty of food choices nearby within 10mins walk. There’s a small convenience store around the corner. Towels smelt of bleach, but otherwise, they were always clean! The hotel was by a main road, and it was easy for cabs and a private drop off at the back of the hotel for a longer wait. The lady behind the counter at the cafe located on Level 1, she seems to be dreaming most of the time. Had to keep repeating myself for her to get the message. Room was 72x, she couldn’t find the number in the system despite asking us for it for 3 times. We had to write it down, and she still read it as 32x. 🙂↕️ had to correct her a couple of times that’s it’s SEVEN TWO x. Overall, great stay!

The room is warm, with three bedrooms and an open living room. Convenient location, walking distance to duty-free shops. Especially suitable for families or friends to travel together. Go to Myeongdong Dongdaemun and take a taxi, which is more cost-effective than the subway. Because there is a slope, the landlord provides a taxi fare subsidy, and will help with car appointments. If you need help, you can contact you at any time.

Hands down the best hotel in Seoul in terms of facilities and services! Location is very strategic and even they offer free transport and also shuttles on popular places In my opinion this hotel is really a great cultural experience for foreigners. I recommend to try their gym and also sauna. They provide jerseys and also luxury powder rooms To end, they also have the best breakfast

We stayed for a week in Pullman Seoul and in. general we would come again. Rooms and beds very comfy and clean, service/staff very helpful and very friendly. A few points we noticed that can be improved: 1. More explanations overall with a few examples: - We had Lounge access but no one told us there's actually food there in the evening. We found out 2 days in. - Pools and Sauna don't seem to be included for everyone and even though we had it included we could not use the pool because swimming caps are mandatory and they do not provide some. It would be the most basic thing to eother remove this rule or simply provide swimming caps. - In the Sauna there are no big towels which can be very confusing for non local guests. Slippers were also not provided (at least to us, but I did see people that had some) 2. Food in Lounge: theres a lot of choices but I was sad there are not as many local options especially for breakfast. 3. Lounge closing times: starting to be as noisy as possible and blasting all lounge the lights to maximum is not a way to remove your guests from a lounge when it closes. It made us feel completely unwelcome. Also we couldn't even take our unfinished last drinks to the room which was literally next door to the lounge. Be a bit. more. flexible and. judt. let the guests do that and then have housekeeping pick up the glass next morning? These are just minor things overall, but we did notice them and other guests as well. Especially shower caps and lounge kick out were highly discussed topics among multiple guests we met. However as said overall this was still a 5 star worthy experience and we would still come again tonsee. if the tiny topics we raised were fixed and to enjoy this beautiful hotel again.

This hotel was convenient, affordable, and clean! The washer in the room is so helpful if you have a long trip, and detergent and a drying rack are complimentary. The style of the room is similar to a small apartment with no kitchen but it has a lot of storage and new facilities.

clean but old and outdated facilities. breakfast menus always the same. bus stop and subway station close by and convenient, airport bus stop a few steps away too. front desk staffs and restaurants are friendly and speak good English.

Everything was great, the room is extremely small (which is ok for Asia) but very clean and cozy. Perfect place to discover Seoul, DDP is 10 minutes walk from here, there are also a lot of shops and cafes. Subway and bus station (limousine bus as well) are just in front of the hotel. Stuff is friendly and nice. Even though it’s cheap - the quality, location and service are very good. Would definitely stay in this hotel next time
