Hotels in Gangnam, Seoul

I stayed at the hotel where WINNER stayed. The hotel's location is excellent and very convenient, with direct airport bus access! Everything you need is nearby – several Olive Young stores, many cafes, and a convenience store is just downstairs, a quick couple of right turns away. It's super easy to get around from here. The breakfast was very Korean. The room was clean; although a bit small, it wasn't a major issue. The front desk staff were also great; besides Korean, they were fluent in English and Japanese. Luggage storage is available, highly recommended! You'll need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste, and I didn't see any pajamas in the room.

Check in was easy, however tooth brushes are not provided so be sure to bring your own. Otherwise you can always get them at the vending machine or 711 besides. Lots of eateries around the hotel which is really convenient! Location is great too , near to subway station . Room is clean and spacious. Gym and laundry room are well equipped and convenient to use!

I requested higher floor, no corner room, quiet and away from the lift. They did arrange a higher floor and no corner room but my room was right facing the lift area. Luckily it wasn't noisy. However, the walls were quite thin and I can often hear next door. Housekeeping also comes quite early and always leaves a note that they came by already by 9am (i have my room DND). There was a lot of dust on the walls (see pic). They havent wiped it down in quite a while and I saw it there constantly for the few nights i stayed. Also, on the first day all the electric sockets near the bedside didn't work. My phone didnt charge overnight and I asked them to fix it. Then for my rest of my stay, it was okay. Lastly, the amenities were VERY limited. The slippers were very thin, no toothbrush or toothpaste. I also found there were stains on some of the towels (they were definitely clean but just obvious stains). I found the pillows quite uncomfortable because I usually like harder pillows and even if i stacked 4 of them together it would become quite flat. But thats just a personal preference.

Location is just right near Sinnonhyeon station. Room was clean and well equipped. Came with bidet toilet as well. However, the aircon system can be improved as it was in constant heating mode and unable to adjust below 25 degrees Celsius. When reception was informed,they notified to just open the windows for the cool air to enter the room. Other that the above, the overall stay was pleasant.

The gentleman at the front desk provided excellent service; he even walked me to the elevator, concerned I might get lost. Unfortunately, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. It was just a spring mattress without a proper mattress topper, making it far too hard to sleep on. Moreover, the bathroom sink was quite low, and I found hairs from a previous guest, indicating that the cleaning was not thorough.

Having previously stayed at the Glad Hotel in Yeouido and really enjoyed it, I booked this Gangnam branch directly for my last-minute trip, without much time to research alternatives. This location isn't quite as good as the Yeouido one. The room was very small, and given I booked late during Frieze Seoul, the value for money felt pretty average. However, for a solo traveler staying a couple of days on short notice, it was perfectly adequate. It's clean and safe, check-in and check-out were both swift, parking is convenient nearby, and it's easy to get a taxi or private car. There aren't many dining options or convenience stores right next door, and the hotel cafe closes quite early. So, you'll need to buy food in advance or arrange for delivery. A big thank you to the front desk for lending me an umbrella!

I had a pleasant time staying at Dormy Inn. As usual, the service provided by the staff at the hotel is exceptional. The location is close to the subway station despite a short distance of steep walkway. Plenty of food choices nearby. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

The service was good, the staff at the reception was helpful, the room was quite clean, there are restaurants and spa in the hotel but I have not tried it. It is a bit challenging to find a subway station, but there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel. I felt like there was not much to walk around (like shops or cafes), but overall the location is not bad

The superior room is spacious enough to open two suitcases. It is basically quiet. We could hear some noise from the cars since the room faces the street but it is acceptable. The lighting of bathroom maybe disturbing. The location is basically convenience, 3-4 mins walking to the Mtr station but it is a little bit uphill and also there are a couple of bus stops right outside hotel. But need to take Mtr and bus frequently if wanna visit different areas . So better to have climate card. The airport bus stop is also right outside hotel and it is also possible to take Mtr to reach airport in abt 90mins with one transit. The staff is nice.

The public areas are looking run down. The wall paper is buckling in the common areas. They should provide more bottled water in the room. They are a four star rated hotel but the amenities are 3 star.
