Myeong-dong
It's good that it's close to the station and within walking distance of Myeongdong! The water pressure in the shower is good. You can't flush the toilet paper. The walls of the rooms are thin so you can hear the people next door taking a shower! This time, the people next door were foreigners and they were making noise until late at night, so it was very noisy. I think it would be a good room if the people next door were quiet.

The stay was great overall. However, sometimes when I shower at midnight there was no hot water, so I need to shower with cold water🥲. And my bathroom light was broken as well. The general service was okay, the person at the front desk was nice as well. But when I try to contact them before my travel I can’t get to them even in their service hours… Overall, it was a good stay beside the things mentioned above.

Insadong / Bukchon
The rooms are business-class, but it is a cost-effective hotel. It is located in a great location for exploring Seoul, including Ikseon-dong Cafe Street, Insa-dong, palaces, and Jongmyo Shrine, and is well connected to public transportation. It is also a place where bars and restaurants are concentrated. The location is so good that you can see anywhere in Seoul within walking distance.

The price is cheaper than other places and it's close to the station, so I think it's convenient. To put it simply, it's like a super cheap love hotel.

The nearest station of the hotel, the Branch 4 Street, is available on the subway 2 and 5. Just leave the Branch 4 Street Station 4 exit and turn right to the alley a little ahead of the convenience store (CU). The 5 floor and 6 floor of the miscellaneous building, which is written as ”Korea Building Korea B.D.G”, are accommodations. This was the first time a solo trip abroad, but I was able to go without hesitation. There is a seikei gawa River near the hotel, and if you walk along the river, there is a shop of the hirozo market (kuangjansijan), and if you walk through the alley, there is a shop of the Yoshiyama general market (pansanchong hassijan) It was fun to walk in the gap time. There was no smell that was concerned, no air dryness hurting my throat, and I was able to sleep at night. (if the weak throat is going to be in the season using air conditioning, it may be better to take drying measures.) Also, there is a water server in the hallway of the hotel I didn't have to buy mineral water at the convenience store and was saved. The shower was large and small and I didn't know how to use it. I couldn't use only one hot water from both. Fixed large shower and small shower that can move freely, both from Davadaba 〜 and hot water. I thought that it would be okay if the hot water came out properly, and I didn't ask the front desk in particular, and I used it as it was, but it was a mysterious specification. If you are concerned, you may want to check it in advance. The front desk was relieved because I had a person who could speak Japanese at check-in and check-out. Thank you for your warm response!

The location was very good as it was close to the city of Myeongdong and Euljiro Station. The check-in is late at 22:00, and there are few amenities, but considering the price and location, I was very satisfied.
