Seoul Dongdaemun-gu Hotels

I stayed at this hotel for one night, the staff was responsive and kind, here we were provided with free canned drinks. The room was a bit cramped, but clean and there was no hair left on the pillow. The bathroom was clean and everything went smoothly. Under the hotel there is a convenience store and many good restaurants near the hotel. The hotel is also close to the subway. Overall its a good hotel.

The Location is quite good especially for tourists who want to take airport bus from incheon. This hotel locates in Janghanpyeong station (exit #1) by walking only few minutes and it's so convinience to find good food with reasonable price around hotel. CU mart is near hotel only few minute walk. The room size is quite big enough to open 2 luggages. I will stay here again next time i go to Seoul for sure.

I super like the fact that I can self check in and out and handle everything by myself. The room even has a wall mounted shoe rack. Love the luggage storage at the hotel, super convenient and cheap. I hv no complaint on the location, cleanliness and comfort of the hotel. The design and facilities seems suitable for long term stay for student though. It got free laundry and even a parcel collection room. The hotel is right outside subway. Airport bus also right outside hotel. Rtn airport busstop is less than 10mins walk away. Just next to hotel has a very good dumpling and bao shop and a push cart selling street food. Surrounded by convenient stores and cafes.

We booked a deluxe double with an extra bed for 3 people. Not sure what ”deluxe” even means because when we got there we were surprised to see that they crammed a tiny cot into our already tiny room. There was barely any room for us to open our luggage, let alone sleep comfortably. We went down to see if we could get a larger room or book an extra room for my sister to stay comfortably. Unfortunately this hotel does not offer refunds, cancellations, or any accommodations. We booked a separate single room for my sister and were surprised to see that her room had two full sized beds and plenty of space. Not sure how they decided it's a good idea to put three people in a small room with a cot when they have bigger rooms with two large beds. Not only that, we paid $767 for this single bed room with a cot for 4 nights. My sister's room, $230. Oh and ”city view” means you get to look out and see the side of the building next door unless you crane your neck to see a sliver of city. The location is nice, I guess. It's close to a transport station and several convenience stores. But for groups of 3+, I'd recommend booking elsewhere.

My thanks to the lady and the gentleman at the front desk! The took the trouble to help me find a taxi which was difficult during the peak time of 8:15am. In fact the staff at the front desk are all nice people, polite, and professional.

The location of the room is very good. It takes 25 minutes by train to get to Seoul, Myeongdong, Dongdaemun, and the surrounding areas. There is a food stall one minute downstairs, and a direct bus to the airport in eight minutes. The service is also very good, but the cleaner is very lazy. The sheets and quilt covers are very bad 👎. The water and vitamin water are not replenished. The most speechless thing is that every time the cleaning staff does not give you pajamas, they take away the pajamas and do not replace them for you. You have to ask the front desk for them. Either there is no paper, or the quilt cover can clearly see spots... He will not take the initiative to change it, and he will not clean the dust and dirt in the corners of the floor. I don’t know why this cleaner is like this...

The floor heating was very warm and I was able to sleep without heating at night. The toilet and the bath were close to each other so I got soaked, but I was able to stay for 3 nights without any inconvenience.

The hygiene is average and acceptable. The service attitude is very good. What I like is that there is a free parking lot and they will help with parking. The location is okay because of the parking lot. If there is no parking lot, it will not be so convenient.

There were many foods around and the location was not bad, but the bathroom was not clean and the bedding smelled a bit!
