Little bit disappointed with the promised upgrade. Turns out the room they upgraded to was smaller than the normal room. Had a few of my friends staying in the same hotel as we planned our trip together. Noticed our room at the corner was smaller and after reading the pass reviews.. it has happened before. They “upgraded” the floor but down sized the room. The photo u see is the room I stayed for 1 night (different from the website photos) before switching to another room. How unfortunate! Also I booked king sized bed but it was less than 1.7m in width. What standards are the king size bed for an international hotel brand like IHG. Having known I would have stayed at my regular hotel like the Mondrian. Facilities were basic.. service ok. But size of room for my first night was so small I couldn’t open my bag properly without blocking the walk way. Ruined my experience. Having to move in and out of my room. Only plus point is that it is a new hotel and super convenient- right beside the train station and airport bus stop. Will I come back.. not unless they promise not to mislead people.

Excellent service. I had my foot ripped off and need an adhesive tape. I made the request at Room Chat and they sent me within 5 minutes. On another occasion, we need to go Sanchon for dinner appointment but couldn’t be able to get any urber or taxi on apps, so we tried to ask hotel front desk. Their staff arranged taxi for us within 10 minutes. Highly commendable for their efficiency and “can-do” attitude! The only setback is breakfast only serves until 10:30am. Would be great if all day breakfast is available as leisure travellers do not have tight schedule and tend to wake up late.

An excellent stay. From the moment I arrived I felt very well taken care of. Every member of staff was polite, friendly, and patient. I booked a twin room but was offered a King size on arrival. I had a river view that was so beautiful! Namsan park is just across the road - the location is perfect, perfect, perfect! Room service was prompt and the food was good. I didn’t have breakfast. I did eat at JJ Mahoney’s and that was excellent - super service!! The one thing that did seem odd was I couldn’t seem to not get water all over the floor when using the shower. Not sure if it was the pressure (which was great), or the angle of the shower head (which I did adjust to try and rectify things). Nice to see sustainability measures in place for amenities, towels etc. Oh - checking in on a Friday seems to be incredibly busy. I came home from an excursion at around 4pm on Friday and the lobby was jam packed (as was the gallery for tea etc.) so perhaps try and time your visit accordingly. Excellent stay, will definitely be back!

I had an amazing stay at Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Times Square! The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Times Square with easy access to shopping, dining, and transportation. The room was clean, modern, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was perfect after a long day of exploring Seoul, and the city view from the window added a special touch to the experience. Loved the location at its best! The train strain with many exits/entrances are right at our doorstep. Right opposite our hotel is the historic Dongdaemun Gate. We had our daily breakfast overlooking the city view and nearby buildings. There were 3 pools, a normal swimming one, a kids pool and the other one was a bubble pool. We were told to wear swimming caps whenever we entered the pools. The staffs were quite friendly and full amenities were provided during our 1 week stay in this hotel. For business traveller, this hotel is also perfect as it comes with an ironing board, an iron etc. Daily condiments & beverages (Nespresso Machine) are included in the room. International breakfast is served at L2 from 6.30 to 10am sharp, the spread were great, didn’t expect to be quite a lot of dishes. We didn’t manage to eat all of them as there were too many choices and most of them were not to our likings. The staffs will come around each table to remind guests at 9.30am that the restaurant will be closed at 10am sharp. But the only drawback was we didn’t manage to get a high level room to stay, overall the experience is splendid and we had a wonderful time. Recommended to stay here provided you are willing to spend SGD450+/night, otherwise I highly suggest staying at any nearby hotels with the same great experience you’ll truly get as well.

I've stayed at the JW Marrriot Seoul several times due to the excellent location, amenities in the vicinity ans access to many good food and shopping. The service is always professional though less personal. This time9lround the guy at the reception - Michael, was cheerful and a good eye for detail. He noticed my birthday was on Sunday and wished me happy birthday in advance. Although I was checking out on Saturday, he offered complimentary small bottle of korean sparkling wine and some fruits. That was a nice gesture which he didn't have to. Thank you Michael for making this stay a little special.

It is a good location. The room is good size for me and my wife and have every facilities. We feel comfortable. The hotel's location is good. It is close to subway line 9 which is on the left side, taking us to the domestic and international airports. The subway line 2 on the right sides taking us to most of the attractions. There is a resturants steet which you can eat anythings. There are 7-11 and CU opposite the road and you can buy water and soft drinks. The bad thing is that it on a slope and need a bit of walk uphill from stations. Nevertheless, we will stay in this hotel in future even though the room cost is on the high side.

Room was perfect with a kitchen and laundry room. There is a door separating the bedroom from the living so it’s good when travelling with a baby. Breakfast buffet is a good mix of international food.

Price includes breakfast but there was NO breakfast. NO bottled water in the rooms. NO toothpaste , NO lotion , NO toothbrush. Rules : NO eating in the room(communal kitchen is on 5th floor with no elevator) , NO makeup on towels or bedding or you will be fined. NO food/drinks in the mini fridge. NO shoes in the hotel, take them out and leave them by door. NO chair to sit on on second floor when you are doing this taking off and on of shoes. Bathroom is a shotlet so water kinda gets all over but is big enough. NO body towel, only face towels. Pro: there was an electric blanket for the cold winter, there was also a heater in the room. Host is nice.

The location is quite good. It's not far from two subway stations. There are only stairs. The neighborhood downstairs is very lively, so you have to close the windows when sleeping at night. Toilets and showers are shared and everyone is required to maintain hygiene.
