Dongdaemun Hotel

I visited this hotel for the first time during my recent trip to Seoul, and it was in a great location. It was right in front of Dongdaemun Station, with Heunginjimun Gate in front and a large market behind it, making it very convenient. I had yukhoe and chijimi at Gwangjang Market, and they were delicious. Myeongdong and Cheonggyecheon Stream were also nearby. The night view was beautiful, but the city was also bustling with tourists, just like during the day, which was nice. The hotel was newly renovated and very clean. The staff were incredibly kind. There was a washing machine, so I could do my laundry, and I could also iron. There was a Wow Pass machine, so I didn't have to go to the currency exchange. Foreign languages, including English and Japanese, were also supported. There were many convenience stores and restaurants nearby, making it convenient. I could watch Netflix for free on the large TV. I could walk to the most famous Dakgalbi restaurant. The food was delicious. I was so impressed that I wanted to write a review, and I highly recommend it. Finally, I was given a room upgrade, which was much better than what I paid, and it made for an even better memory.

This hotel was recently renovated. It officially opened on July 30th. The room amenities were decent, including a bathtub. The hotel is conveniently located right outside Dongdaemun Station (Line 4), Exit 7. Dongdaemun Station (Exit 5) is a 30-second walk away, making it very convenient for those on Line 1. There are several restaurants, convenience stores, and fast food restaurants nearby.

The room was newly renovated, so it was very clean and comfortable. The deluxe room was spacious and comfortable. There was a laundry room on the first floor, so I could use it conveniently without worrying about washing clothes even for long-term travelers or short-term travelers, and thanks to the free OTT service, I could enjoy movies and dramas to my heart's content during my break. In particular, most of the nearby accommodations only have stairs, this one had an elevator, so it was convenient to carry heavy luggage. The location was really good, right in front of Heunginjimun, and the subway stations on lines 1 and 4 were right in front of the hotel's main entrance, so it was really convenient to get around. It was a great location for shopping or sightseeing in Dongdaemun, so I was able to get around without any problems even on a short trip. The price was reasonable, so it was cost-effective, and the staff were friendly, so my stay was enjoyable. I plan to stay here again next time I'm near Dongdaemun.

The location is truly excellent. Right in front of Dongdaemun Station, served by lines 1 and 4, it's very convenient for getting around. I took the airport train to Seoul Station and then took Line 1 directly here. It's also very easy to get to Myeong-dong on Line 4, and Cheonggyecheon Stream is right in front, perfect for strolling. You can walk to Dongmyo and the Yellow House area in Dongdaemun. At night, the night view of Dongdaemun is beautiful and can be enjoyed right in front of the accommodation. The facilities appear to have been recently renovated (remodeled), so everything is clean and modern. The staff is very friendly, and they also store your luggage for you before check-in or after check-out, which was very helpful. There's a washing machine available, so you can do your own laundry. They also have a WOWPASS machine, where you can easily exchange money and top up your transportation card without having to search for a bank or store. There's a convenience store and a Lotteria (fast food) right next door, so it's very convenient for a quick bite to eat. The room had a large TV with free access to Netflix and other platforms, which was great. The last time I was in Korea, I stayed in a nearby hostel that only had stairs, so it was a relief to have an elevator here. The bedding was very comfortable and clean, and when I needed to print something, they helped me without any problem. Overall, excellent value, perfect location, modern facilities, and friendly service. I would definitely stay here again!
