Myeongdong Merlin Hotel

So so near the subway but still in walking distance  Room is comfortable for two ppl, enjoy staying here! There are some 🌸near the hotel

Very very poor customer service from the staff. We booked a twin room but was given a room with double bed, and a loft with an additional bed at the top. Bedsheets had stains and one of the bedsheet was yellowish compared to the other bed. We asked the staff if we could change to a double room without the loft, and was told that all rooms had a loft. We then asked if they can change the bedsheets instead and the staff told us to just do a refund for the room (in a very rude manner). In the end they changed the bedsheet and the duvet cover was still yellowish (not sure if they even changed the duvet cover). The only thing they cleaned everyday was the trash. We came back to the room and the bed wasn’t even made. Towels had strong bleach smell. Location wise is ok. Just hope that they can respect their customers more.

Abt 8 mins walk fr metro. On main road. Orange wall so easy to recognise. Naver map says it is further so look out for it. It is nearer as compared to Naver Map. Small room w loft (useless lol) but free water n coffee tea at lobby

The service from the receptionist was amazing, they can speak english and nihon too. The location is strategic, from Chungmuro station just walk straight to reach the hotel, but if you have huge luggages just walk out from the exit opposite to exit 8 because it has escalator while exit8 only stairs, then just cross the road to reach the hotel. The room was clean with enough amenities. I forgot to take the picture inside our room as we were too tired and we only stayed for a night. But the view was worth it and the room was enough for 3 adults. However one thing lacking was the heater inside the room especially during winter, we struggled to switch it on and just let the floor heating up instead of the whole room. And the washing machine cannot be used. Otherwise, we had a pleasant stay.

Stay here in early December. The room has a floor heater, but it wasn’t strong enough and I was freezing all night—luckily, only stayed for one night. There’s an air conditioner, but it's labeled for cooling only, so it didn’t help with heating the room. The room also has a small upstairs area, but it's not for sleeping. The washing machine is labeled as broken. The location is a bit distance from the metro but acceptable, bus stop is nearer. The front desk can help store luggage for early check-ins or post-check-out, and they also provide a universal adapter if needed. Overall, it was okay

The position of the hotel is good but the equipments are not fully work.
