The hostel is located at the right place. On arrival, I was asked how many toothbrushes I needed, and given towels according to what my answer was. Can't we get such necessities in the room?If we don't them, we will leave them. The fridge was empty with no water even, too bad. The counter is always empty with no immediate assistance. We called and asked for an iron and they do not have it. Self-service breakfast, not bad if you are not lazy or late for checkout.

This was my first time staying at K Grand Hostel Gangnam.
I always stay at Toyoko Inn Gangnam, but this time there were no vacancies so I chose this one.
I was scared because I read in the reviews that there were bugs, but my room was fine.
I liked that it was quite reasonable at about 7,800 yen for 1 night and 2 days.
Although there are some disadvantages compared to Toyoko Inn (no elevator, you can hear people's voices because it's a restaurant district), I didn't get the impression that it was dirty, and the receptionist kindly explained the hotel to me in Japanese.
I didn't have any particular issues with the bathroom.
I didn't go to the shared space this time, so I'm sorry I can't write about it in the review🙇♀️
Also, if you use the shower, you might want to avoid it...the toilet and shower are together without any partitions.
I was satisfied because all I wanted from a hotel was a certain level of cleanliness and a place to sleep.

The front desk staff was female and spoke English and was very polite. There is a curfew, but they will give you a pin number so you can go out after 11pm, so there is no problem.
The room facilities are the bare minimum. Amenities include a toothbrush. There is no treatment or cleansing. There was no water in the refrigerator, so you need to buy it in advance. There is no kettle to boil water.
I stayed on the 4th floor, but there is no elevator, so it is a bit difficult for people with large luggage.
